GoJet Airlines is on the lookout for a dedicated and highly committed Flight Attendant to join its team, based in St. Louis, MO. As the sole Flight Attendant on board the innovative 50-passenger CRJ-550 aircraft, operating under United Express, you will play a key role in ensuring safety, security, and comfort from boarding to deplaning. Key Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will set a high standard and provide remarkable in-flight service while demonstrating excellent dependability and punctuality. You will be expected to think independently while remaining part of a collaborative team, handle a wide variety of situations while in continuous contact with the public both on and off the aircraft, and work independently as well as part of a team without supervision. Your responsibilities include ensuring the safety and comfort of customers, responding to a variety of emergency and non-emergency situations (with training provided), maintaining a neat and orderly cabin environment, and following all applicable regulations and work rules.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 19 years of age or above, hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent, and preferably have two years of customer service experience. The candidate must be able to make announcements, give emergency orders, and communicate in the English language. A valid passport, driver’s license or state ID, and Social Security card are required. Candidates must live within two hours (100 miles) of the domicile they are applying to and be able to attend up to six weeks of paid training in St. Louis, MO. Travel documents must remain valid throughout all phases of training and employment. The candidate must have the legal right to work in the United States and the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all states and countries, including Canada. Availability for reserve duty and adherence to uniform standards and guidelines with a professional and conservative appearance are required. While pierced ears and religious tattoos or piercings may be acceptable, tattoos or body piercings on the hands, face, and neck or any that are visible in business attire are not permitted without exception.
Physical Requirements:
Candidates must meet specific physical requirements, including the ability to perform tasks that involve physical exertion such as standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting heavy objects. They must be able to stand and speak for long periods, work in small confined spaces, and handle conditions such as turbulence, dry air, and varying noise levels from aircraft engines. The role requires extensive travel, including spending consecutive nights away from home and working in all climates. Candidates must be flexible with alternative work schedules, including holidays, evenings, and weekends. They should be skilled in handling difficult situations, problem-solving, complaint resolution, and conflict de-escalation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide a friendly reception to all customers. Additionally, candidates must be able to professionally represent the GoJet Airlines brand while in uniform and demonstrate outstanding communication skills, public speaking abilities, sound judgment, and the capacity to resolve issues with empathy, understanding, and perseverance.

As a GoJet Flight Attendant, you will enjoy an hourly wage of $28.00 with an additional $2.00 per diem, based on a minimum of 75 hours per month.
