What the Role Involves?
Life as a Cathay Pacific Flight Attendant is as rewarding as it is dynamic. Onboard, you’ll ensure the highest standards of safety and comfort, while building genuine connections with passengers from all walks of life. You’ll also play a key role as a brand ambassador, showing thoughtfulness, professionalism, and a “can-do” spirit in every situation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering outstanding inflight service and exceeding customer expectations
- Carrying out safety, security, and first aid duties with professionalism and confidence
- Assisting customers who may need extra care, always with patience and empathy
- Collaborating with colleagues in a multicultural team environment
- Adapting quickly and calmly to changing situations
- Upholding company policies and international aviation regulations
What We’re Looking For?
To thrive as a Cathay Pacific Flight Attendant, you’ll bring warmth, professionalism, and adaptability. You must also meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 18
- Secondary school education or higher
- Fluent in English and at least one additional language (Cantonese, Putonghua, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Filipino, Hindi, Sinhala, Thai, or Vietnamese). Putonghua proficiency is a strong advantage.
- Confident communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or the airline industry is preferred
- Minimum arm reach of 208cm (on tiptoe)
- As this is a safety-sensitive role, candidates must also successfully complete background checks, a medical assessment, and a pre-employment drug test in line with HKCAD requirements.
- Legal right to work in Hong Kong
Language Exemptions:
You may be exempt from the English assessment if you hold:
- TOEIC® Public Test: 325+ in Reading and Listening (valid score)
- IELTS Academic: Overall Band Score of 6.0 or above (valid score)
