Ascend Airways is looking for Cabin Crew Members who excel in delivering outstanding customer service and creating unforgettable experiences for passengers. Reporting to the Head of Cabin Services, this role requires full flexibility, as it involves various types of flying and potential periods away from base during the winter. As a Cabin Crew Member, you will play a key role in ensuring passenger safety and comfort while providing world-class service with professionalism and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Crew member, you will ensure the safety and security of passengers and crew in compliance with aviation regulations while providing outstanding customer service and addressing passenger needs and requests. Responsibilities include conducting safety demonstrations, assisting passengers during boarding and disembarkation, serving food and beverages, and selling duty-free products during the flight. Additionally, you will handle passenger inquiries, resolve issues promptly with a calm and professional approach, and represent Ascend Airways by delivering a positive and memorable experience for all passengers.
Compensation: £22,000 per year, plus £5 Flight Pay
Requirements
The successful candidate must be over the age of 18 at the time of application and possess excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, with knowledge of additional languages being desirable. A minimum of 12 months of service as a Cabin Crew or Senior Cabin Crew member is required, along with a valid UK CAA Cabin Crew Attestation and a valid UK Cabin Crew Medical. Candidates must hold a valid passport that permits unrestricted travel worldwide and have the unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom. Knowledge of medical first aid is necessary, with updated medical training provided by Ascend Airways. Satisfactory background and DBS screening checks are required. Additionally, candidates must have the ability and confidence to swim 25 meters unassisted and must be within a 90-minute commute time from LGW.
