What You'll Be Doing?
Every day as a Virgin Australia Cabin Crew member is different, and that's exactly what makes this role so exciting. You'll be:
- Welcoming people onboard our aircraft (and seeing them off at the other end) with warmth and genuine hospitality
- Giving clear, comprehensive safety briefings and making sure everyone adheres to them—safety is always our number one priority
- Offering brilliant service to all our guests, from the moment they step onboard to the moment they disembark
- Helping those with special needs and making flying super fun for unaccompanied minors—you'll be their trusted companion in the sky
- Working as part of a team, meeting new people every day, and exploring new places
- Handling things that are outside of your control—weather, delays, emergencies—with calmness and confidence, making guests feel like they're in good hands
Who We're Looking For?
You don't need previous flying experience to join us. What matters most is your attitude, your energy, and your genuine desire to care for others. To be considered, you'll need:
- To be at least 18 years of age
- To be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
- To have had at least 3 years of previous employment in part-time or full-time hours—in roles that focus on caring for people or customers
- A valid passport with at least 18 months of validity remaining
- A Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate—you'll need this to serve onboard
- A current Australian First Aid and CPR certificate
- The ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster—including early starts, late finishes, weekends, public holidays, and peak periods
- To be comfortable around cats and dogs who may travel on board our aircraft from time to time (yes, we're pet-friendly!)
- To be able to reach up to a height of 180cm—this is a safety requirement
