Your Mission: Safety, Service, and Excellence in the Skies
As a Cabin Crew Member, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of passengers and crew during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations. You'll also deliver exceptional in-flight service, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for every passenger. Your role is critical to Luxair's commitment to excellence, and you'll be supported by comprehensive training and a collaborative team.
Your Main Duties:
- Perform all duties related to the safety and security of passengers and flight during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations—safety is your top priority
- Ensure effective communication between cabin crew members and flight crew members according to applicable instructions for common language and terminology—clear communication is essential
- Provide appropriate assistance to all types of special category passengers—including those with reduced mobility, unaccompanied minors, and others requiring extra care
- Provide appropriate first aid measures to all types of medical emergencies, whether still on ground or inflight—you'll be prepared to handle any situation
- Keep updated with all changes in regulations, documents, and instructions provided by Luxair—staying current is essential
- Ensure the wellbeing of our guests according to applicable service instructions and commercial communication guidelines—every passenger deserves a positive experience
- Act according to current applicable regulations and instructions and take necessary responsibilities when involved in the process of In-flight Sales on Luxair flights
- Keep familiar with all available ways/forms of reporting and communicate issues that occurred while on duty—be it irregularities, feedback, or suggestions
What We're Looking For?
To join our Cabin Crew team, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
Minimum Required Criteria
- Secondary education diploma (Bac) or equivalent
- Swimming and/or rescue certificate
- At least 18 years old and fit for flights—you must pass the required medical examination
- Accept irregular work schedules and weekend work—flexibility is essential
- Accept layovers at outstations—you'll be away from base as required
- Basic knowledge of standard office applications—you're comfortable with technology
- Customer-oriented, smart appearance, and respect for the internal uniform dress code—you represent Luxair with professionalism
- Good communication skills in English, French, and German (spoken & written)—multilingual communication is essential
- Attend and pass mandatory initial & recurrent training according to the area of activity—continuous learning is part of the role
Desired or to be Acquired Criteria
- Excellent sense of customer contact and highly service-oriented—you genuinely enjoy helping others
- Basic knowledge of Luxembourgish—a strong asset for connecting with local passengers
- Ability to communicate at all levels, both inside and outside the company
- User skills in tools used in the department—you adapt quickly to new systems
- Responsible, dynamic, team-oriented, and able to deal with stress—you thrive in a fast-paced environment
