Your Mission in the Skies
As a Cabin Crew Member with Luxair, you will undertake a vital role that goes far beyond traditional service. You are a trained safety professional, a compassionate caregiver, and a gracious host, all in one.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Upholding the highest standards of safety and security for passengers and crew during all phases of flight, including handling abnormal and emergency situations with calm competence.
- Ensuring clear, precise communication within your cabin team and with the flight deck, following all established protocols.
- Providing thoughtful and dignified assistance to passengers requiring special care, from families with children to passengers with reduced mobility.
- Administering appropriate first aid and managing medical emergencies with confidence and care, whether on the ground or in the air.
- Proactively staying informed of all regulatory, procedural, and service updates to ensure your knowledge is always current.
- Creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for our guests by delivering attentive, personalised service aligned with Luxair's renowned standards.
- Managing the in-flight sales process with integrity and commercial awareness.
- Contributing to our culture of continuous improvement by actively reporting feedback, irregularities, and suggestions.
Do You Have the Luxair Spirit?
To embark on this journey with us, you must meet the following essential criteria:
- Hold a secondary education diploma (Bac or equivalent).
- Possess a valid swimming and/or rescue certificate.
- Be at least 18 years of age and medically fit for flight duties.
- Be fully available to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overnight layovers at our various destinations.
- Have a good foundational knowledge of standard office software.
- Present a smart, professional appearance and adhere to our uniform standards with pride.
- Demonstrate strong customer orientation and possess excellent communication skills in English, French, and German (both spoken and written).
- Commit to successfully passing and maintaining all mandatory initial and recurrent training.
