Join the Breeze Team as a Part-Time Flight Attendant in Providence!
Based at Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, Breeze Airways is looking for friendly, grounded, and genuinely nice people to join our team as Part-Time Flight Attendants. If you're someone who stays calm when things get busy, enjoys helping others feel at ease, and wants to be part of a growing airline that actually means it when we say "Seriously Nice," this could be the perfect fit.
What You'll Do as Part of Our Inflight Team?
As a Breeze Flight Attendant, you're one of the most visible faces of our airline. That means you play a huge role in shaping how our Guests feel about flying with us. Yes, safety is always first — but warmth, kindness, and good judgment come in a very close second.
You'll welcome people aboard, help with seating or luggage, answer questions, and stay present and available throughout the flight. You'll serve meals, snacks, and beverages (alcohol included) while keeping everything clean, organized, and hygienic. You'll also monitor the cabin regularly, stay approachable, and handle whatever comes up — whether that's a medical situation, a seating issue, or just someone needing a little extra patience.
Because schedules in aviation can shift due to weather, operations, or delays, we'll need you to stay flexible and professional when plans change. You'll also help with safety demonstrations, emergency procedures, security screenings, and even assist in other departments if needed. And yes — we'll ask you to complete Autism Awareness Training, because every Guest deserves to feel understood.
What We're Looking For?
You don't need previous flight attendant experience to be considered. What matters more is your attitude, your reliability, and how you treat people.
Here are the basics you'll need:
- At least 21 years old
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid U.S. passport with at least six months remaining before expiration (this is required at the time you apply)
- Legal right to work in the U.S. and ability to travel freely to and from the country
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly — including making announcements and giving emergency commands
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when needed
- Ability to report for duty at your assigned base and work "Reserve Assignment" as scheduled
- Ability to live within a two-hour drive of Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport
- Successful completion of a DOT pre-employment drug test, a TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check, and a Breeze background check
- Ability to pass a vision and hearing test
Physical and Safety Requirements
This role is active and hands-on. You'll need to be comfortable with:
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 50 pounds (like Guest luggage)
- Closing overhead bins with about 50 pounds of push/pull force
- Pushing or pulling beverage and food carts up and down inclines (up to 60 pounds of force)
- Assisting disabled Guests into and out of an Inflight wheelchair and transporting them as needed
- Reaching emergency equipment in overhead bins without help
- Sitting and buckling securely into the E190 and A220 Flight Attendant jumpseat harness
Appearance and Personal Presentation
We want you to show up as yourself — within reason. Here's what works for us:
- Nose piercings are allowed: single 2mm or smaller stud only (silver, gold, or gemstone). No hoops or other facial piercings.
- No more than two earrings per ear while in uniform
- No teeth embellishments
- Tattoos may be visible if they follow our guidelines (details provided during the hiring process)
What You'll Get in Return?
This is a part-time role with a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours. Pay ranges from $25 to $37.50 per flight hour, depending on experience and other factors.
We also offer:
- Paid initial training (yes, you're compensated while you learn)
- Initial uniform and luggage issuance covered by Breeze
- 401K with company match (eligible after 90 days of employment)
- Paid time off (PTO)
- Travel benefits on Breeze flights starting after 30 days
- Travel benefits on other airlines starting after six months
A Few Final Things to Know
You'll need to successfully complete our initial Flight Attendant training program and be interviewed and selected for this specific part-time role. And throughout everything — from training to your first flight to your hundredth — we'll ask you to live by our five core values: Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
Ready to Join the Breeze Team?
If that sounds like a team you'd be proud to join, we'd love to hear from you.
