As a part-time Cabin Crew Member with Edelweiss, you are much more than a flight attendant—you are a host above the clouds. Your primary mission is to ensure our guests feel welcomed, cared for, and safe from the moment they step on board until they disembark. You'll work within open, friendly teams where every day brings new destinations and faces, making your work wonderfully varied and deeply rewarding.
A Glimpse into Your Flying Day:
- Acting as the warm and welcoming ambassador of the Swiss holiday spirit, ensuring guest well-being and safety throughout the flight.
- Preparing the aircraft cabin meticulously and managing all service processes to deliver a seamless, comforting experience for our travelers.
- Delivering our signature Edelweiss onboard service with a genuine smile, including attending to guest needs and conducting onboard sales.
- Reviewing all flight documentation thoroughly before each assignment to ensure you are fully prepared and informed for your rotation.
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit team to maintain our high standards of hospitality and operational excellence.
What You Bring to Our Crew
We are looking for experienced, personable individuals who embody our warm and professional spirit. To join our part-time team, you should meet the following criteria:
- A completed basic education (e.g., apprenticeship, high school diploma) and a minimum of two years of proven flight experience as a Cabin Crew Member.
- A natural enjoyment of interacting with people and a truly customer-oriented attitude.
- Strong conversational skills in German (minimum C1 level) and English (minimum B2 level). Knowledge of additional languages is a valuable asset.
- A Swiss or EU/EFTA passport and a strong connection to Switzerland, with an understanding of Swiss German.
- A well-groomed, professional appearance and a warm, friendly manner. (Please note our specific tattoo regulations in the application form).
- A love for teamwork, excellent communication skills, and a strong sense of empathy.
- The ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations, and comprehend procedures thoroughly.
- For male applicants: proof of completed Swiss basic military training (RS), civilian service, or official confirmation of unfitness.
- A minimum height of 158 cm and confident swimming skills.
