Redefine Luxury at 45,000 Feet: Cabin Attendant – Gulfstream 700 (San Jose, CA)!
Jet Aviation is searching for an experienced, polished, and highly discreet Cabin Attendant to join our elite team based in San Jose, California, operating aboard the remarkable Gulfstream 700. This isn't your typical service role—it's a career for someone who views hospitality as an art form and understands that true luxury lives in the smallest, most thoughtful details. If you thrive on anticipation, take pride in creating seamless experiences, and want to work alongside a world-class aviation team, this is your opportunity.
What You'll Be Doing: The Heart of the In-Flight Experience
As the sole cabin professional onboard, you'll own the guest journey from the moment you begin pre-flight preparations until long after the passengers have deplaned. High-profile clients trust us with their comfort, safety, and confidentiality—and you'll be the reason that trust is well-placed. Every flight brings new challenges and opportunities to deliver something unforgettable.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Working hand-in-hand with the Pilot-in-Command to ensure every operation runs smoothly, from preflight cabin checks to coordinating with ground crews.
- Taking personal ownership of passenger safety—assisting with seating, luggage, children, and passengers with disabilities while operating safety equipment with confidence.
- Delivering safety briefings and, if ever needed, taking command of the cabin during a medical or aircraft emergency.
- Transforming the cabin into a sanctuary: managing bedding, supplies, sourcing top-tier vendors, and preparing and serving meals and beverages tailored precisely to passenger preferences.
- Keeping meticulous records—updating client profiles, completing post-trip reports, managing expense accounts, and staying current on all required training.
- Stepping into a leadership role when needed, mentoring contract or part-time crew members, and representing Jet Aviation as a trusted ambassador to industry groups and regulatory bodies.
What You Bring to the Cabin?
We're looking for someone with a proven track record in high-end service—someone who doesn't just complete tasks but elevates every interaction.
Required credentials and experience:
- Four years of experience in a similar cabin attendant or corporate flight attendant role, with at least two years specifically in culinary or high-end hospitality.
- Completion of Flight Safety International (or equivalent) corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training.
- Current MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent.
- A high school diploma (or equivalent).
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- At least 21 years of age.
Lifestyle and flexibility:
- Willingness to work a variable schedule that includes extended trips, holidays, and weekends—private aviation doesn't follow a nine-to-five rhythm.
- Ability to travel extensively worldwide without restrictions.
Physical readiness:
- You should be comfortable with frequent standing, walking, sitting, and occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
- Regular lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting, is part of the role.
- You'll work in varied environments—from heavy maintenance hangars to upscale customer spaces—and adapt to changing weather, noise, vibrations, and occasional fuel fumes.
What Will Set You Apart?
We receive many applications, but the candidates who truly shine with us tend to share a few qualities:
- A genuine team spirit: You have strong interpersonal skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a natural passion for collaboration. You communicate clearly and approach even the most nuanced situations with a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor.
- An obsession with excellence: You're driven by quality. You don't just meet standards—you raise them. You embody Jet Aviation's reputation as a global leader in every interaction.
- A heart for mentoring: You genuinely enjoy sharing what you know. Your warm, professional presence makes passengers feel cared for and colleagues feel supported.
Why You'll Love Working at Jet Aviation?
At Jet Aviation, we don't just fly—we soar. You'll join a team that redefines luxury travel daily, delivering service that passengers remember for a lifetime. This is a dynamic, rewarding environment where your expertise and leadership will make a lasting impact.
