Solairus Aviation is seeking a Full-Time Flight Attendant (Gulfstream G650) for an operation based at KLAS - Harry Reid International Airport. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player, eager to take on additional responsibilities to deliver exceptional service to passengers at all times. Culinary experience and a passion for food are essential, and advanced culinary training is highly preferred. This position involves delivering exceptional personal services to ensure passengers' safety and comfort during flights. Key duties include welcoming passengers, providing safety equipment instructions, and serving food and beverages.
Salary Range: $50,000 to $500,000 annually, depending on geographic location, experience, type of aircraft, job duties, training, and assigned client account.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring top-tier service to clients while prioritizing safety and comfort. This includes guiding passengers during emergencies, administering basic first aid, including CPR and AED, and securing the cabin per federal regulations before takeoff and landing. You will reassure passengers during turbulence or other disturbances and conduct preflight briefings. Responsibilities also include verifying that all food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and supplies are adequately stocked. You will shop for any special items requested by passengers, clean and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg, and ensure the aircraft is always flight-ready, cleaned, and stocked. Additionally, you’ll conduct regular cabin checks for passenger comfort and cleanliness, complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork, and operate audio and video systems as needed.
Requirements
The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, possess a high level of attention to detail, and preferably hold a college degree. Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred, along with over five years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant. The candidate should have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations and hold a First Aid Training Certification. Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar programs is preferred, with annual recurrent training required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualifications but must attend initial training before any flight assignment, with preference given to those who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months. Technological proficiency, flexibility, and patience are essential, as are culinary skills and culinary-specific training.
The candidate must be able to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights, be available to fly on short notice (2–3 hour response if on standby), and have an unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, taking into account health and visa status. The role requires the ability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days, operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems and galley equipment, as well as configure cabin features including berthing seats and divans into beds. Experience with small children is preferred.
Physical Requirements
Applicants must have vision that is correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses, with uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20. They must be able to read reports, manage post-flight paperwork, and effectively use a computer, smartphone, or iPad device. Clear speech and adequate hearing are essential for effective communication over the phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, even during flights.
Physical stamina is required, with the ability to walk and stand without assistance for up to 14 hours with limited sitting, and work long hours in varying climates. Candidates must also be able to kneel to load luggage and supplies in the aircraft’s compartments and maneuver in tight spaces within the aircraft. Strength and dexterity are necessary for tasks such as pushing and pulling the main cabin door, which can weigh up to 130 pounds, and handling a variety of items including writing, typing, cooking, and serving food and beverages. Additionally, applicants must be able to lift supplies weighing 25 to 30 pounds from the floor to waist height repeatedly.
