Silver Air is excited to announce an opening for a Contract Cabin Attendant based in Van Nuys. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to both Part 91 and Part 135 operations, delivering exceptional service with the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Attendant, you will deliver exceptional customer service on Silver Air's Part 91 and Part 135 flights by proactively anticipating and addressing guests' needs. You will clearly communicate available amenities to guests and ensure a welcoming and positive experience throughout the flight, from boarding to farewell. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-flight inspections of the galley, cabin, and crew areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and readiness, and promptly communicating the status to the flight crew. You will collaborate effectively with the flight crew, adhering to Silver Air's high standards of service and professionalism as outlined in the "Cabin Attendant Handbook." You will manage catering orders and ensure all flight and guest necessities are tailored to each trip, maintaining a fully stocked and meticulously organized cabin. Safety and compliance will remain a top priority, governing all in-flight activities and guest interactions. You will also assist with the Initial Cabin Setup as needed to guarantee a luxury-ready environment for guests.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have fluency in both Portuguese and English to ensure effective communication with diverse clientele, and a minimum of five years of experience as a Corporate Cabin Attendant in Part 135/91 operations. A college degree is preferred but not required. Extensive expertise in high-end food and beverage preparation, plating, and service standards is essential, with a strong focus on luxury presentation. The role requires exceptional interpersonal skills with an intuitive understanding of client needs to deliver a personalized and seamless service experience. Strong resourceful problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time management skills are also required, along with a commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in line with luxury service standards.

Silver Air offers compensation ranging from $800 to $1,000 per day, with competitive and fair packages that reflect a candidate's experience, skills, and overall fit with the job qualifications. Candidates with more than two years of experience who meet a high percentage of the qualifications and demonstrate excellence in presentation and flexibility may be considered for compensation near the top of the range, with slight adjustments based on any gaps in meeting the full set of requirements. As this is a contract position, full-time benefits provided to Silver Air employees do not apply.
