    Description

    Air Transat is looking for an In-Flight Service Supervisor to join its team in Montreal. Reporting to the Base Manager, this key role is focused on supporting, motivating, and coaching cabin crew members while ensuring the highest standards of service and regulatory compliance. The In-Flight Service Supervisor plays a vital part in daily operations, helping to foster a professional and positive work environment, identifying operational issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of both customer and employee experiences.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Supervisor, Inflight Service, you will inspire confidence while developing a professional and individual connection with each of your team members, proactively give recognition, and communicate constructive and authentic feedback to build a relationship of trust. You will accompany and contribute to the development of your flight attendant team members so that each is motivated to reach and exceed expected performance levels through a constructive approach aligned with the company culture. In collaboration with Labour Relation Advisors, you will investigate disciplinary or administrative cases, attend meetings, and take appropriate actions and measures. You will also participate in the hiring process for cabin crew members, represent the employer on one or more of the organization’s local committees such as Health and Safety, service, or uniform, and conduct regular and sporadic operational visits to validate compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, occupational health and safety, and service standards—these checks may occur at the gates or in-flight. Additionally, you will review and take action on various reports, including performance, attendance, expense reports, and KPIs of your flight attendant team, and participate in the emergency response plan while supporting operations and cabin crew during irregular and emergency situations.


    Requirements

    The successful candidate must have a college diploma, excellent oral and written skills in both French and English, and the ability and experience to work with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in employee management or supervision within a unionized environment and a minimum of three years of experience as a Flight Attendant. They must successfully complete the initial cabin crew training. A flexible schedule and the ability to work irregular hours—including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays—are essential, along with availability to be on call. The candidate must be willing to travel internationally using a valid Canadian passport and be able to obtain and maintain an airport restricted area identification card.
