The Heart of the Flight: Join Ventura Air Services as a Charter Cabin Attendant!

Based in Farmingdale, NY – serving premier airports across the Eastern U.S.

At Ventura Air Services, we believe our cabin attendants aren't just crew members—they are the soul of every journey. From the first warm greeting as a client steps aboard to the final farewell on the tarmac, you shape the entire experience. You are our eyes and ears at altitude, the face of our brand, and the person who knows our aircraft and our clients better than anyone else. Everything we build behind the scenes comes to life through you.

If you're someone who notices the small details that others overlook, takes genuine pride in making people feel at ease, and understands that true hospitality is an art form, we would love to meet you.

What You'll Do: Create Seamless, Memorable Flights

Your role blends safety awareness, organizational precision, and genuine warmth. Here's a glimpse of what your day-to-day will look like:

    • Keep the cabin running smoothly – Stay observant and report any issues to the Pilot in Command, while keeping all company paperwork accurate and up to date.
    • Welcome passengers like guests in your home – Assist with luggage, help with carry-ons, and create a relaxed, personalized atmosphere from the very first step onboard.
    • Deliver hospitality that feels effortless – Handle beverage and catering service with polish and poise, anticipating special requests before a client even asks.
    • Be a calming presence – Whether facing weather delays or mid-flight turbulence, your confidence and composure will reassure everyone onboard.
    • Maintain a pristine cabin – You take pride in keeping every surface, corner, and detail looking its absolute best.

    Where You'll Be Based?

You must live within two hours of one of the following airports:

    • New York area: JFK, LaGuardia, Newark
    • Boston, Philadelphia, Washington DC: Logan, Philadelphia International, Dulles, BWI
    • Southeast: Raleigh–Durham, Charlotte, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville
    • Midwest: Chicago O'Hare, Detroit Metro, Minneapolis–Saint Paul, Indianapolis, St. Louis Lambert, Kansas City International, Nashville
    • Texas: Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin–Bergstrom, George Bush Intercontinental (Houston)
    • Plus: Denver International

    Who We're Looking For?

We welcome entry-level candidates who have a natural flair for service. That said, a background in executive-level hospitality, fine dining, or culinary arts is a strong plus—but not a requirement. More than anything, we're looking for the right attitude.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

    • A genuine passion for connecting with people and delivering thoughtful, attentive service.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to read any room with ease.
    • Discretion, trustworthiness, and a professional presence at all times.
    • Excellent organizational habits—you can juggle multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
    • Comfort with domestic and international travel.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and the ability to pass a background check.

    Physical & Practical Realities

This role asks for more than just a service mindset—it requires real physical readiness and schedule flexibility:

    • Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
    • Stay on your feet for extended periods in a compact cabin environment.
    • Be prepared to assist passengers in emergency situations.
    • Work irregular schedules, including weekends, holidays, and long duty days (holidays are our busiest season, so those shifts will be part of your rotation).

    What Makes This Role Different?

No two flights are ever the same. Our charter operation moves fast, and our passengers vary with every trip. You'll need to think quickly, adapt on the fly, and embrace the unpredictable nature of private aviation. If you thrive on variety and love the challenge of making every client feel like the only person in the room, you'll fit right in.

Compensation: Starting pay is $62,000 per year and up, depending on your experience and background.
