What You'll Be Doing: More Than Just a Flight Attendant

As part of our cabin crew, your number one priority will always be passenger safety—but your role goes far beyond that. You'll be the face of Akasa Air, creating a warm and professional atmosphere that turns an ordinary flight into a truly memorable journey. • Keeping yourself fully updated on the latest safety, service, and promotional circulars—staying current is part of the job.
    • Looking the part with pride. You'll maintain impeccable grooming and uniform standards, both during flights and on layovers.
    • Owning your paperwork—ensuring all mandatory training and regulatory documents are valid, renewed, and issued on time.
    • Boosting onboard sales with a friendly, helpful approach. You'll be a natural brand ambassador, sharing what makes the Akasa Air Experience special.
    • Paying extra attention to passengers who need it most—whether that's elderly travelers, unaccompanied minors, parents with infants, or anyone with reduced mobility.
    • Showing you genuinely care. Your enthusiasm for customer service should be visible in every interaction.
    • Checking galley handovers carefully to confirm that all sales stock, pre-booked meals, and catering items match the documentation.
    • Engaging positively and proactively with passengers throughout the flight. You're not just crew—you're the heart of the cabin.
    • Helping maintain on-time performance by staying organized and efficient.
    • Upholding a high standard of self-discipline and following the cabin crew code of conduct at all times.
    • Looking after company equipment and unused catering supplies, ensuring everything is accounted for and returned.
    • Keeping the aircraft cabin, galleys, and lavatories clean and tidy—monitoring the cabin throughout the flight.
    • Reporting any issues, discrepancies, or cabin defects promptly to the Inflight Manager.
    • Making all required announcements clearly and professionally (once you've been approved for announcement duties).
    • Completing every pre-flight and post-flight task with attention to detail.
    • Suggesting improvements to service delivery, product design, or processes that could reduce waste, save costs, or enhance the passenger experience.
    • Practicing effective Crew Resource Management, working seamlessly with cockpit crew and other departments like catering, security, and airport services.
    • Going the extra mile for your colleagues—helping out when needed and being a true team player.
