How Our Recruitment Process Works?
We believe in a thorough but fair selection journey to find the right people for our cabin crew family. Here's what you can expect:
Stage One: Initial Document Check
Everything starts with your online application. We'll review your submitted documents to ensure you meet our basic requirements.
Stage Two: In-Person Selection Day
If your documents pass the first stage, you'll receive an invitation to join us in person. This stage includes several components designed to see the real you:
- Height and BMI Check – We begin with a quick physical verification.
- Catwalk and AI Interview – Walk with confidence and then sit for an interview assisted by our AI screening tool.
- Talent Show (Group Activity) – This is your chance to shine in a team setting. Show us your personality, creativity, and ability to collaborate with others.
- Panel Interview – Finally, you'll meet a panel of our recruitment and cabin crew leaders for a more in-depth conversation about your motivation and fit for the role.
What You'll Be Doing as a VietJet Cabin Crew Member?
Once you join us, your days will be anything but routine. Your primary focus will always be passenger safety, but your role extends far beyond that. Here's a glimpse:
- Taking full responsibility for the safety and security of every passenger from boarding to disembarkation.
- Performing all in-flight duties and services with professionalism, efficiency, and a friendly touch.
- Applying your first aid training whenever a passenger needs medical assistance.
- Handling any other tasks assigned to ensure a smooth, pleasant journey for everyone onboard.
What We're Looking For?
We're seeking candidates who bring both the right qualifications and the right energy. To be considered, you must have:
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- A valid English certificate: minimum TOEIC 500 or equivalent (IELTS 4.0, TOEFL iBT 40, TOEFL ITP 450, or a university degree where English was the primary language of instruction).
- Please note: TOEFL iBT home edition certificates, or any certificates that cannot be verified in Vietnam, are not accepted.
- Medical fitness that meets standard cabin crew requirements.
- Balanced eyes with nearsightedness not exceeding 3 diopters, no squint, and consistent eye color on both sides.
- No visible tattoos or scars while wearing the VietJet cabin crew uniform. (Covering tattoos or scars with makeup or plaster is not permitted.)
Important to Know Before You Apply
Successfully clearing all interview rounds is a wonderful achievement, but the journey continues from there. Candidates who are selected by VietJet must then complete our initial training program. Please be aware that a training bond and training fees agreement will apply at this stage.
