Join Jet Aviation: Luxury Service Starts at 45,000 Feet!
Jet Aviation is seeking a poised, experienced, and detail-obsessed Cabin Attendant to join our elite team in White Plains, New York. If you thrive on creating seamless, five-star experiences for discerning travelers and want to work aboard a Gulfstream in private aviation, this is your opportunity to represent one of the most trusted names in the industry.
This isn't just a service role—it's a craft. You'll be the sole architect of the onboard experience, ensuring every detail from catering to cabin comfort exceeds expectations. Our clients value discretion, precision, and genuine warmth, and we're looking for someone who delivers all three naturally.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day?
Owning the Cabin Experience
From pre-flight walkthroughs to post-flight follow-ups, you'll manage every aspect of cabin presentation. That means inspecting the aircraft, coordinating with vendors for high-end catering, ensuring linens and supplies are pristine, and maintaining a flawless environment throughout each leg of the journey. You'll also keep detailed client profiles so every repeat passenger feels remembered and valued.
Working Hand-in-Hand with the Flight Crew
You'll collaborate closely with the Pilot-in-Command to keep operations running smoothly. That includes conducting preflight safety checks, reporting any maintenance needs, and ensuring the cabin is fully prepared before passengers step onboard. When children or passengers with disabilities are traveling, you'll handle seating arrangements and special assistance with patience and care.
Leading Safety with Confidence
For Part 91 flights, you'll help ensure passengers comply with federal regulations and deliver safety briefings when needed. In the event of a medical or aircraft emergency, you're prepared to take charge of the cabin calmly and effectively. Your MedAire certification and recurrent training will keep you ready for anything.
Mentoring and Representing the Brand
When contract or part-time crew members join a flight, you'll lead by example—training them on Jet Aviation's standards and representing us as a trusted ambassador to clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
What You Bring to the Table?
Required Credentials:
- Flight Safety International (or equivalent) corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training
- MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Minimum age of 21 years
Experience That Matters:
- Four years in a similar corporate or private aviation cabin role
- At least two years of experience in high-end hospitality or culinary service
- High school diploma required
The Right Mindset:
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including extended trips, holidays, and weekends
- Willingness to travel worldwide with no restrictions
- A collaborative spirit and genuine enjoyment of working closely with a small, high-performing team
What Will Make You Stand Out?
We're especially interested in candidates who bring more than just checklists. If you have a natural talent for mentoring others, a deep understanding of aviation nuances, and the kind of professional warmth that puts passengers at ease immediately, you'll feel right at home here. Your attention to detail should be second nature, and your communication skills should help you navigate everything from last-minute itinerary changes to delicate client requests with grace.
A Few Practical Details About the Role
Physical demands: You'll be on your feet often, moving through the cabin, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds (including overhead), and occasionally kneeling or crouching to access storage. Good vision across various ranges is important.
Work environment: You'll split time between pristine customer-facing spaces and heavier maintenance areas. Expect occasional high noise levels near active aircraft, some exposure to fuel fumes, and varying weather conditions when moving between hangar and tarmac.
