Join German Airways: Senior Cabin Crew Member (m/f/d) – Based in Cologne or Berlin!
Ready to take your leadership skills to the next level while helping shape the future of European aviation? German Airways, Germany's second oldest airline with over six decades of operational excellence, is looking for an experienced Senior Cabin Crew Member to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll be based either in Cologne/Bonn or Berlin, working with our modern Embraer E190 fleet and supporting our long-term ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, Insurance) contracts. If you're a natural leader who thrives on responsibility, safety, and service, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing?
This is not just a flying role—it's a leadership position where you'll take charge of the cabin experience from start to finish. Your day-to-day will include:
- Welcoming passengers with genuine professionalism, handling everything from boarding to their final farewell.
- Leading and coordinating your cabin crew team during flight operations, ensuring everyone works together seamlessly.
- Taking ownership of cabin safety and service delivery, making sure all EASA regulations are met without compromise.
- Working hand-in-hand with your cockpit colleagues to create a smooth, coordinated, and enjoyable flight experience for everyone onboard.
- Managing quality standards and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Handling post-flight reporting and administrative duties, keeping our operations running efficiently behind the scenes.
What You Bring to the Table?
We're looking for someone who has already proven themselves in a senior or leadership role within aviation. To be considered, you'll need:
- A valid Cabin Crew Attestation (EASA ORO.CC.120) and an SCCM training certificate (EASA ORO.CC.200).
- Proven professional experience as a Senior Cabin Crew Member or in a comparable leadership position in aviation.
- A valid medical certificate and a current, negative drug screening result.
- Valid hygiene training in line with EU Regulation 852/2004.
- To be at least 21 years old and a minimum of 1.60 metres tall.
- Business-fluent English skills. German or other foreign languages are a strong plus.
- The ability to reach your assigned base within 90 minutes when on call.
- Strong resilience under pressure, a genuine service mindset, and an uncompromising commitment to safety.
- Solid IT skills and access to your own tablet or PC for flight service preparation.
- An unrestricted passport. Non-EU citizens must also hold a valid residence and work permit.
- A polished, well-groomed appearance and a personality that puts passengers and colleagues at ease.
- Excellent teamwork and social skills—you know how to bring out the best in those around you.
Why You'll Love Working With Us?
At German Airways, we don't just offer a job—we offer a career with stability, respect, and real benefits. Here's what you can expect:
- A permanent employment contract with an attractive salary, shift allowances, a company pension scheme, and other social benefits.
- 37 calendar days of holiday per year—because we believe in rest and recharge.
- Your choice of base: Cologne/Bonn (CGN) or Berlin.
- Comprehensive training to keep your skills sharp and up to date.
- A complete uniform provided by us.
- Absence allowances (expenses) paid during flying missions.
- Attractive employee discounts and company benefits.
- A company pension scheme to help secure your future.
- Genuine individual development opportunities and the support of a motivated, close-knit team.
