What You'll Be Doing?
Your responsibilities will be varied and rewarding, including:
- Ensuring passenger safety by adhering to established safety regulations, including emergency and security procedures
- Always ensuring the highest level of customer service excellence
- Delivering clear and competent announcements, including emergency and evacuation procedures
- Administering first aid and medical assistance during emergencies when required
- Performing safety checks, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
- Providing warm, attentive service to ensure passenger comfort and satisfaction
- Addressing passenger requests and concerns professionally, creating a hospitable environment
- Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages, adhering to strict hygiene standards
- Maintaining cabin cleanliness and organised galley spaces, ensuring the highest presentation standards
- Managing unforeseen operational and passenger situations with professionalism and tact
- Adapting and performing effectively under stress, handling multiple tasks proactively and efficiently
- Assisting passengers with luggage and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures for doors and exits
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with team members to ensure smooth teamwork and coordination
What We're Looking For?
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Customer service experience: Minimum 2 years (ideally in hospitality)
- Teamwork: Experience working effectively within a team
- Core skills: Strong customer service abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to perform well under pressure
- Visas: Legally eligible to obtain a US and Canadian Crew Visa
- Medical certification: Valid 5-year medical certification
- Background check: Must pass a criminal background check
- Language: Fluent in English, including reading, writing, and communication skills (ICAO Level 5 or above). Additional languages are an asset
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and meet the physical demands of the role
- Swimming: Confident swimmer, able to swim at least 50m unaided
- Flexibility: Must be flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and respond to callouts within 60 minutes
