    • Maintaining composure, respect, and a solutions-oriented approach during challenging situations or passenger inquiries.
    • Demonstrating an expert knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures, and calmly instructing passengers on the use of onboard equipment.
    • Serving beverages and snacks, while assisting passengers with any special needs, from unaccompanied minors to those requiring additional care.
    • Adhering to all federal regulations and company policies outlined in our manuals and codes of conduct.

    • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
    • Be willing to be assigned to any Mesa crew base (IAD, IAH, or SDF) upon completion of training, which may involve relocation or commuting.
    • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
    • Stand between 4'11" and 6' tall without shoes and be able to reach overhead bins and compartments.
    • Possess the physical ability to perform all safety duties, including operating aircraft doors, lifting up to 40 lbs., stowing baggage, and maneuvering service carts.
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
    • Be able to sit in the jumpseat without modification, walk comfortably down the aisle, and fit quickly through the overwing exits.
    • Have vision corrected or uncorrected to at least 20/40.
    • Be authorized to work in the United States and possess a valid passport with the legal ability to travel unrestricted to all countries served by Mesa, including Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas, and Cuba.
    • Successfully pass a comprehensive background check, FBI fingerprinting, and DOT/FAA pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings. Please note that the DOT prohibits the use of marijuana for safety-sensitive employees.
