Reach New Heights: Join Delta Air Lines as a Flight Attendant in Atlanta!
Have you ever dreamed of turning the world into your workplace? Delta Air Lines is looking for compassionate, quick-thinking, and service-driven individuals to join our In-Flight Services team based in Atlanta, Georgia. Whether you're a fluent English speaker or bring the gift of an additional language, this could be the start of an extraordinary career with one of the most awarded airlines in the United States.
We're currently hiring both English-speaking Flight Attendants and Bilingual Flight Attendants (what we call LOD—Language of Destination). If you're applying for a bilingual role, you'll need to be fluent in English and one of the following: Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Italian, Korean, or Swedish. You'll also complete a language assessment during the hiring process. Once hired, bilingual Flight Attendants commit to the LOD program for two years.
A Career That Operates Around the Clock!
Delta flights run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. That means our Flight Attendants must be genuinely willing to work irregular hours—early mornings, late nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts when operational needs arise. If you love variety and can embrace a schedule that changes frequently, you'll fit right in.
Your Path Begins with Training
New hires complete seven consecutive weeks of paid training at our World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. During this time, you'll receive a training wage, some meals, and shared lodging if you live more than 25 miles from the training facility. It's intensive, immersive, and incredibly rewarding.
Once you graduate, you'll report to your assigned base and join more than 28,000 colleagues in In-Flight Service. Base options vary depending on operational needs and differ for bilingual Flight Attendants.

- Operating and demonstrating safety and emergency equipment, responding to onboard emergencies including ditching situations, and administering basic first aid or CPR when needed
- Giving clear, accurate directions—verbally or non-verbally—to customers during emergencies
