Shape the Future of VVIP Service: Assistant Head of Cabin at FAI Aviation Group!

FAI rent-a-jet GmbH, a proud member of the FAI Aviation Group, stands among Europe's most trusted names in private jet charter—delivering world-class VIP passenger flights across the globe. We are now looking for a polished, experienced, and highly organized professional to join our team as Assistant Head of Cabin for our prestigious VVIP fleet, operating Challenger 604 and Global Express aircraft.

This is a unique hybrid role that blends leadership, administration, and hands-on flying. Based in Nuremberg, you'll support the Head of Cabin in managing a team of more than 15 cabin crew and associated ground staff, while also stepping onboard to deliver the exceptional service our clients expect. If you're ready to move beyond a traditional flying role and help shape the standards of an elite cabin department, this opportunity is for you.

Your Role: Where Leadership Meets Hospitality

This position offers the rare chance to influence both the people and processes behind FAI's renowned service. You'll split your time between administrative responsibilities and active flight duties, ensuring our cabin operations run seamlessly from the ground up and in the air.

    Your Responsibilities Will Include:

    • Supporting the Head of Cabin in leading and developing our cabin crew team, including more than 15 flight attendants and ground personnel such as catering and warehouse staff.
    • Overseeing the administrative heartbeat of the department—managing crew rostering, tracking and coordinating mandatory training, and maintaining accurate records within our flight operations system.
    • Welcoming and integrating new cabin crew members, conducting work safety briefings, and ensuring they are fully prepared to uphold FAI's VVIP standards.
    • Serving as a VIP Service Crew Member on board, bringing your expertise directly to our clients during flexible flight assignments.

    Who We're Looking For?

We value professionalism, initiative, and a genuine passion for excellence. To succeed in this role, you'll need a combination of hands-on experience, administrative skill, and the personal presence to represent FAI at the highest level.

    Essential Requirements:

    • Fluency in both German and English, with additional languages considered a strong advantage.
    • At least three years of experience as a VIP Flight Attendant in business or general aviation, ideally with purser-level responsibilities.
    • Alternatively, several years of relevant experience in the upscale hotel industry, including direct VIP guest care and personnel management.
    • Proven experience with administrative tasks—you're organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing systems and schedules.
    • A friendly, confident demeanor and a polished, professional appearance.
    • Strong sense of responsibility and a high degree of initiative—you don't wait to be told what needs doing.
    • A forward-thinking, organized approach to your work.
    • Natural hospitality instincts and diplomatic finesse when interacting with guests and colleagues.
    • An unrestricted passport.
    • Willingness to relocate to or already reside within a 50 km radius of Nuremberg.

    What Awaits You at FAI?

We believe in rewarding dedication and investing in our people. When you join our team, you can expect:

    • A two-year fixed-term contract with a clear path to a permanent role and the potential for promotion to Deputy Head of Cabin.
    • Six weeks of annual leave to recharge and explore.
    • A 13th-month salary as a loyalty bonus, plus additional benefits.
    • A modern, welcoming work environment with free parking directly at Nuremberg Airport.
    • The opportunity to work alongside a motivated, international team with a diverse and engaging range of responsibilities.

Ready to Shape the Future of VVIP Service?

If you're ready to combine your passion for VVIP service with meaningful leadership and administrative impact, we'd love to hear from you. Bring your experience, your initiative, and your dedication to FAI—and help us set the standard for European private aviation.
