CemAir, a proud Part 121/135 operator, is expanding its team and seeking dedicated Senior and Junior Cabin Crew to join us at King Shaka International Airport in Durban and George Airport. Your Role: Safety First, Service Always
As a member of our cabin crew, you are the face of CemAir and the guardian of every passenger's journey. Your primary responsibility is ensuring the safety of everyone on board—passengers, crew, and aircraft alike—by rigorously following company policies and procedures. But your role doesn't stop there. You'll also play a key part in delivering the warm, professional service that keeps our guests coming back, contributing directly to the airline's success and reputation.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Maintaining an unwavering focus on safety, ensuring all cabin procedures are executed to the highest standard.
- Delivering exceptional passenger service that enhances the travel experience and supports company revenue goals.
- Helping ensure flights depart on time by working efficiently and in full compliance with company policies.
- Leading by example—guiding fellow crew members to uphold the professional standards outlined in our cabin crew manual.
- Performing quality control checks on catering, verifying that quantities and presentation meet our requirements.
- Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting the CemAir product through clear, positive communication with passengers, crew, and management.
What You'll Need to Bring?
We're looking for experienced professionals who are ready to hit the ground running. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a South African citizen with a clear criminal record and a valid passport.
- Hold a Matric certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Be fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have a minimum of 2 years of flying experience.
- Be medically and physically fit, with the ability to swim.
- Be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as the aviation industry demands.
- Have reliable transport to and from base.
- Be currently based in either Durban or George (this is non-negotiable).
Essential Licenses & Certifications:
- You must hold a valid SACAA Cabin Crew License that includes the following up-to-date certifications:
- Dangerous Goods
- Ditching
- Fire Fighting
- Class IV Medical Certificate
- First Aid Training / Avmed
