Description
If you have a passion for private aviation and the art of exceptional service, this opportunity may be your perfect next step. Jet Aviation is looking for an experienced Cabin Attendant to join our Van Nuys-based Gulfstream 650 team — someone who brings warmth, professionalism, and meticulous attention to detail to every journey.
About the Role
As a Cabin Attendant at Jet Aviation, you’ll be the person passengers trust to make every flight seamless and comfortable. You’ll take care of everything — from elegant catering and safety briefings to creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our client’s expectations and the Jet Aviation brand. When not flying, you’ll help with administrative and training duties that keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing?
Every day brings new challenges and destinations. You’ll work closely with the pilots and ground team to ensure the aircraft is immaculate, stocked, and ready for takeoff. Your duties will include:
- Preparing and inspecting the cabin before each flight to ensure all equipment and amenities meet Jet Aviation standards
- Coordinating catering, shopping for specific client requests, and presenting meals with care and style
- Providing safety briefings and ensuring compliance with all FAA regulations
- Managing emergency procedures and operating all safety equipment confidently when needed
- Assisting passengers with luggage, entertainment systems, and seating — including support for travelers with special requirements
- Maintaining detailed records, inventories, and post-flight reports
- Supporting menu planning, cabin manual updates, and expense tracking
- Occasionally training or supervising part-time or contract cabin crew
- Representing Jet Aviation with professionalism and discretion both onboard and on the ground
What We’re Looking For?
We’re searching for someone who naturally anticipates needs, delivers with grace under pressure, and represents our values of trust, honesty, and excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma (college degree preferred)
- 4+ years of professional experience in a similar cabin or luxury hospitality role
- At least 2 years of culinary or fine dining service experience
- FlightSafety International or equivalent corporate cabin attendant recurrent training
- MedAire certification or current CPR/AED equivalent
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualities
You’ll stand out if you have prior experience mentoring other cabin crew, strong project management skills, or a background in corporate aviation. A calm, friendly, and polished presence is key — we’re looking for someone who embodies our culture of quiet professionalism and genuine care.
Physical Requirements
This role requires agility, stamina, and the ability to handle cabin equipment safely. You should be comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs (and occasionally up to 50 lbs overhead), standing or walking for extended periods, and managing the physical aspects of inflight service.
