Your Role: A Leader in Safety and Service
As a GlobalX Flight Attendant, you are more than a crew member—you are a brand ambassador and a vital leader in our cabin operations. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional travel experience while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism. From pre-flight preparations to post-flight procedures, your attention to detail and positive attitude will ensure every flight operates smoothly and every passenger feels valued.
What Your Journey Will Involve?
- Successfully completing our comprehensive, three-week initial new hire training program.
- Collaborating with and supporting the lead flight attendant to execute a seamless and safe operation.
- Representing the GlobalX brand with pride through professional conduct, grooming, and a customer-focused demeanor.
- Conducting detailed preflight briefings and safety checks of all emergency equipment, supplies, and cabin conditions.
- Providing warm, efficient service to passengers, including greeting, assisting with baggage, and preparing/serving meals and beverages.
- Clearly explaining and demonstrating safety procedures while confidently enforcing all federal regulations.
- Maintaining flexibility and resilience, adapting to changing situations and varying schedules, including extensive travel and time away from base.
- Being available and responsive while on reserve, ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays as our operation requires.
The Experience You Bring
We're looking for candidates who are as reliable as they are personable. To qualify, you should possess:
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- A high school diploma or GED (an Associate's degree is a plus).
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and the ability to obtain all necessary travel documents and visas.
- At least two years of hands-on customer service experience.
- The ability to reach six feet in height without shoes.
- Current residency in or around the Alexandria, LA area, near AEX airport.
- A professional appearance with no visible tattoos or piercings while in uniform.
- Excellent communication skills, with full proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- The ability to pass a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and criminal history check.
