Qatar Airways is hiring a Cabin Services - Administration Assistant (Cabin Safety Training) for a permanent position based in Doha, Qatar. This role supports cabin safety training operations, ensuring efficiency in administrative tasks while contributing to the airline’s high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Services - Administration Assistant, you will provide daily administrative support for the smooth functioning of the Cabin Safety Training department. Your tasks include handling confidential documents, maintaining filing systems, manuals, invoices, and other source data. You will manage and complete multiple tasks and projects within specified timeframes, ensuring the integrity of all information and data. Additionally, you will skillfully draft internal communication, manage department correspondence and telephone communication, and compile business documentation support, including report writing, presentation creation, spreadsheet preparation, and distribution of materials. You will also assist with department administration tasks such as ordering stationery. Other related duties may be assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the team.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of one year of job-related experience, or a high school diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent with at least two years of job-related experience. A tertiary qualification in HR or administration, along with a certificate in office administration management or MS Office applications, would be an added advantage. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and teamwork skills are essential. The candidate must be able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism, work effectively under pressure within defined schedules, and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Flexibility to work extended hours is also required.
