Description
EJM is seeking a qualified Cabin Attendant for a Gulfstream 450 aircraft based in White Plains, NY (KHPN). This is an excellent opportunity to join a professionally managed operation flying under Part 91 and 135, supported by a dedicated crew including four pilots, a maintenance technician, and a Cabin Attendant. The role includes responsibility for passenger safety, comfort, and service, along with proficiency in cabin systems, abnormal and emergency procedures. The aircraft operates approximately 400–450 hours annually, with 25% of flights being international. Candidates must have prior Gulfstream 450 experience, be comfortable serving passengers of all ages, and live within a two-hour drive from HPN.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Attendant, you will coordinate preflight activities to ensure the proper maintenance status of emergency equipment, cabin cleanliness, aircraft stocking, and proper catering orders onboard. You will be responsible to the assigned Pilot in Command of the scheduled trip for all duties and must comply with all Federal Air Regulations (FARs) while ensuring passenger compliance with regulatory requirements. Maintaining proficiency and currency as a Part 91 or Part 91/135 qualified crewmember is essential. You will conduct emergency and service briefings before each leg and ensure the cabin is secure before taxi. Compliance with the General Operations Manual, company policies, and procedures, including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers, is required. Providing the highest level of customer service to owners and charter passengers is key, including greeting all passengers, verifying the passenger manifest, preparing meals, tending to passenger needs, and maintaining an orderly cabin to create a first-class environment. You will also be responsible for ensuring the company’s safety, security, and quality goals are met by adhering to the Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting any safety, security, or quality concerns through the appropriate channels.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old with customer service experience, while fine dining and culinary meal planning experience are preferred. Excellent verbal communication skills and a willingness to work irregular and long hours according to flight schedules are required. Candidates must meet and successfully complete the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program and be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Proficiency with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures are essential. Candidates must be knowledgeable in safe food handling procedures, proper cleaning, and laundering of all cabin linens and serving ware. The ability to operate all onboard entertainment systems and equipment, as well as perform basic troubleshooting, is required. Responsibilities include purchasing and stocking cabin supplies and catering from bakeries, markets, and restaurants. Preference is given to local candidates with experience on large cabin aircraft.
