Join Our Northern Skies Team: Flight Attendant – Thompson, MB!

Perimeter Aviation is looking for a confident, customer-focused Flight Attendant to join our team in Thompson, Manitoba. If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, takes pride in keeping passengers safe and comfortable, and enjoys working independently while still being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect fit. You'll be the face of Perimeter on every flight—and often the only crew member in the cabin. That means your professionalism, calm presence, and genuine care for people will shine every single time you step onboard.

    What You'll Be Doing?

As a Perimeter Flight Attendant, you'll wear many hats—safety expert, service professional, problem-solver, and brand ambassador. Reporting to the Flight Attendant Manager, you'll ensure every passenger feels secure, welcomed, and well taken care of from departure to arrival.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Joining pre-flight crew briefings and gathering all the information you need for a smooth flight
    • Checking the aircraft before passengers board, making sure all safety and emergency equipment is ready, and that snacks, beverages, and supplies are fully stocked
    • Delivering clear and professional safety announcements and demonstrations
    • Preparing the cabin for takeoff and landing, and monitoring everything during the flight
    • Offering a friendly selection of snacks and drinks while handling onboard revenues with accuracy and care
    • Stepping up as a natural leader—providing direction and assistance to passengers and fellow crew members when needed
    • Keeping the cabin clean, tidy, and guest-ready throughout the flight
    • Completing pre-flight and post-flight paperwork with attention to detail
    • Restocking the aircraft commissary between flights
    • Following all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to the letter
    • Successfully completing our four-week initial training program, which includes written and practical exams
    • Showing genuine sensitivity and respect for the unique environmental, cultural, and business needs of the diverse northern communities we serve
    • Lending a hand with freight offloading when needed
    • Taking on additional duties as assigned—because in a smaller operation, flexibility matters

What You Bring to the Role?

We're looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of the cabin and represent Perimeter with pride. Here's what we require:

    • A high school diploma or GED
    • At least one to two years of customer service experience
    • The ability to obtain and maintain all required transportation security clearances
    • A valid passport

It's also a strong asset if you have Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training. We value team members who come with a deep respect and understanding of First Nations communities.

    Who Thrives Here?

This role is not for everyone—and that's okay. The right person for this position is:

    • Highly flexible, able to think on their feet and respond quickly when plans change
    • Professional, respectful, and brings a genuinely positive attitude to work every day
    • Committed to on-time performance—punctuality matters immensely in aviation
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently, sometimes for entire flights
    • A strong communicator, both verbally and in writing
    • Calm under pressure, able to handle stressful situations with grace
    • Deeply customer-service oriented, with a natural desire to go the extra mile
    • Detail-oriented and skilled at managing their time effectively

    Working Conditions to Consider

Before you apply, please know that life as a Perimeter Flight Attendant is unique. You'll need to be:

    • Physically capable of performing all job duties, including lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
    • Comfortable traveling by aircraft and other means as the role requires
    • Able to work a flexible schedule and travel for extended periods when needed
    • Ready to work both indoors and outdoors—Manitoba weather can be extreme, so adaptability is key
    • Prepared to work independently, as Perimeter operates with a single flight attendant on board

    Ready to Make a Difference?

If you're looking for a role where you'll be trusted, valued, and truly make a difference for passengers traveling to and from northern communities, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and bring your best to Perimeter Aviation.
