Spirit Airlines is looking for a Supervisor, Inflight based in Atlanta, GA. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all inflight operational matters, including incidents, delays, and crew issues, while ensuring full compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. The Inflight Base Supervisor plays a vital part in promoting safety, efficiency, and a positive work culture—supporting both team members and guests, one journey at a time.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Supervisor, Inflight, you will ensure the welfare of each other and guests as part of ongoing safety practices, anticipate the needs of others by exceeding expectations in attentiveness, and provide a professional, friendly, and seamless experience. You will show respect for the time of both colleagues and guests, achieve and improve performance in daily operations by monitoring flight attendant delays and cancellations attributed to Inflight, and conduct second-level research on incidents, customer complaints, and reports, following through with appropriate progressive discipline. You will serve as the ultimate resource for flight attendants by acting as the liaison between them and other departments via the Help Desk, assisting with matters such as FMLA applications, crew pay and scheduling inquiries, and directing questions to appropriate parties. You will be responsible for holding flight attendants accountable to all policies and procedures by issuing notices of investigation and rendering resolutions fairly, consistently, and promptly. Your role includes participating in all daily operational calls and required meetings, assisting in various base and corporate events for team members, conducting in-flight support rides monthly, providing gate and boarding support, attending flight attendant briefings, and completing all required reports in a timely manner, including p-tracker, NOI logs, and weekly reports.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with two or more years of experience as a Flight Attendant preferred, along with two to three years of prior management experience. The candidate must be present at the worksite 100% of the time and be willing to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% of the time. A thorough knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint is required, as well as proficiency in Citrix and the ability to utilize all available technology to create, edit, and maintain necessary information. An intermediate understanding of all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and how they apply to daily operations is essential, as well as an understanding of a Flight Attendant’s role, daily duties, and Collective Bargaining Agreements. The candidate must have an advanced understanding of company policies and procedures, including the Inflight Performance Management Policy, and must demonstrate the utmost professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment at all times. The ability to interact positively and constructively with crewmembers, fellow supervisors, and management, adapt to various work schedules and evolving industry standards, and maintain current Spirit Airlines Flight Attendant Certification is required. Additionally, the candidate must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
