What You'll Be Doing: Bring Joy to Every Flight
Onboard, you're the heart of the guest experience. Whether welcoming passengers aboard, offering a friendly smile, or helping someone find their seat, you create the atmosphere that turns a journey into a holiday experience.
Your typical day includes:
- Pre-flight briefing: You'll gather all the essential flight details with your crew, ensuring everyone is prepared for a smooth and safe departure
- Cabin preparation: Before guests arrive, you'll conduct safety checks and make sure everything is perfectly arranged for their comfort
- Welcoming guests: Your warm greeting sets the tone, and you're there to guide, assist, and help passengers settle in
- In-flight service: Whether serving refreshments, offering tips on destinations, or simply sharing a friendly word, you make everyone feel at ease
- Onboard presentation: You'll showcase our onboard products in a natural and engaging way—adding a little extra joy to the journey
- Being a Eurowings ambassador: Through your energy, enthusiasm, and team spirit, you'll embody everything our airline stands for
- Staying calm in turbulence: You're the reassuring presence that passengers look to—solution-focused, composed, and kind
What You Bring to the Team
You're someone who connects easily with others and takes pride in delivering service that feels authentic, not scripted. Here's what you'll need:
- Age: At least 18 years old
- Height: Minimum 1.60 m
- Language Skills: Strong German and English, both spoken and written (minimum B2 level)
- Passport: Unrestricted and valid for at least 18 months
- Health and Fitness: You're in good health and fit to fly
- Vision: Within ±5 diopters
- Swimming: Confident swimming ability—at least 100 meters without stopping
- Standby Readiness: You can reach your base within 60 minutes when on duty
- Technical Essentials: Reliable internet access at home
- Vaccinations: Willingness to follow WHO vaccination recommendations
- Personal Qualities: Strong service orientation, confident demeanor, and professional grooming
Your Path to Joining Eurowings
- Step 1 – Application: We'll review your documents to see if there's a match
- Step 2 – AI Interview: You'll record a video interview answering questions about yourself and your motivation—in both German and English
- Step 3 – Selection Day: We'll meet in person in Cologne, get to know you better, and see your personality in action
