Key Responsibilities
As a Gulfstream G650 Flight Attendant with Solairus Aviation, your responsibilities will encompass a comprehensive range of duties, ensuring every aspect of the flight experience is executed to the highest standards. Your key contributions will include:
- Providing an exceptionally high level of service to our clients, prioritizing the safety and comfort of all passengers during flights.
- Expertly directing and assisting passengers in emergency situations, and confidently administering basic first aid, including CPR and AED, when necessary. You will also be responsible for securing the cabin in strict compliance with federal regulations before take-off and landing, and reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations.
- Conducting thorough preflight briefings, ensuring passengers are well-informed and comfortable.
- Ensuring that all necessary food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment, and other supplies are meticulously stocked and sufficient for the specific trip and number of passengers.
- Thoughtfully shopping for items specially requested by passengers for their flight, adding a personal touch to their journey.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg, ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for the next flight, impeccably cleaned, and fully stocked.
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure ongoing passenger comfort and cleanliness throughout the flight.
- Completing all preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork with precision and timeliness.
- Proficiently operating audio and video systems, as well as all features of the Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features (including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed).
Requirements
We are seeking a highly adaptable and experienced professional who thrives in a demanding yet rewarding environment. Applicants should possess:
- A strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Current First Aid Training Certification.
- A minimum of 5+ years of proven experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar reputable programs is highly preferred, with annual recurrent training being a mandatory requirement. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other exceptional qualifications but must attend initial flight attendant training before flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
- Must be technologically savvy, capable of operating various in-flight systems and devices.
- Possess exceptional flexibility and patience, crucial for managing a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
- Demonstrated culinary skills and specific culinary training are essential, reflecting the high standards of our in-flight catering.
- Be available to fly on short notice (requiring a 2-3 hour response time if on Standby).
- Possess the unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (considering health and visa status), with the capacity to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, fostering positive interactions with passengers and crew.
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
- A college degree is preferred.
- The ability to speak one or more foreign languages fluently is preferred.
- Experience with small children is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Vision: Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contact lenses. Uncorrected vision should be no worse than 20/20. Must be able to read reports, charts, manage post-flight paperwork, and use electronic devices (computer, smartphone, and/or iPad).
- Hearing/Speaking: Must be able to speak clearly and have adequate hearing to communicate effectively over the phone and in person with clients, co-workers, and pilots, even when the aircraft is in flight.
- Standing/Walking: Must be physically capable and strong enough to walk and stand without assistance, and be able to stand for up to 14 hours with limited ability to sit. Must be able to work long hours in various climates.
- Mobility: Must be able to kneel in the luggage compartment to load trip supplies and luggage, and maneuver in tight confinements within the aircraft.
- Strength & Dexterity: Must be able to push open/pull closed the main cabin door (weighing up to 130 pounds). Must be able to write, type, use a computer and a phone, and prepare/cook and serve food and beverages. Must be able to lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds, from floor level to waist high repeatedly.
