Join Virgin Australia Cabin Crew!
Virgin Australia is growing its cabin crew team in Perth, and we're searching for people who bring warmth, personality, and genuine hospitality to the skies. Our crew has proudly earned the AirlineRatings.com Award for Best Cabin Crew seven years running, and that doesn't happen by accident — it comes from having people who care deeply about creating memorable experiences for every guest. If you're someone who lights up a room (or in this case, a cabin), we'd love to meet you.
What makes this opportunity stand out is the lifestyle. While cabin crew roles often mean several days away at a time, our Perth operation is different. Most flights will see you return home the same day, with only the occasional overnight required — giving you the rare balance of aviation excitement and home-ground comfort.
Whether you've worked in hospitality, customer service, retail, nursing, aged care, or hotels, the skills you already have translate beautifully into this role. If you know how to care for people, stay positive under pressure, and bring energy to your day, you're already halfway there.
What the role looks like?
As a Cabin Crew member based in Perth, you'll play the starring role in every journey. You'll welcome guests on board with confidence and clarity, lead safety demonstrations, and ensure everyone follows those safety procedures throughout the flight. From offering thoughtful, guest-focused service to assisting people with special needs or helping kids travelling alone feel at ease, you'll be the reassuring presence that sets the tone for the entire experience.
Every flight brings new faces and new situations, so you'll be working closely with your team while keeping a calm, steady mindset when unexpected challenges pop up — from weather disruptions to delays. When you stay composed, your guests will feel it instantly.
Who we're looking for?
We're searching for people with genuine warmth — individuals who bring good energy, good judgement, and good intentions. If you're the type who naturally helps others, stays cool under pressure, communicates clearly, and brings a down-to-earth vibe everywhere you go, you'll fit right in.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Are 18 years or older
- Have at least 3 years' experience in customer-focused or care-related work
- Have (or can quickly obtain) a RSA certificate
- Have (or can obtain) current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Can work a rotating roster across early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays
- Can comfortably reach a height of 180 cm
- Are fine working around pets, as dogs and cats sometimes travel onboard
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
- Hold a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months' validity
What you'll enjoy as part of our team?
We believe great people deserve great conditions, and you'll have access to some of the most attractive benefits in the industry. This includes heavily discounted air travel for you and your loved ones — plus $1000 in annual travel credits — along with six weeks of annual leave, onsite physio services, full uniform provided, and free staff parking. You'll also receive staff-only discounts across Virgin brands worldwide, offers on travel insurance, lounges, car hire and hotels, as well as perks in retail, wellness, technology and beauty.
Personal wellbeing matters to us, so you'll also have access to free counselling and a wellbeing app that supports every aspect of your health — physical, mental, social and financial.
If you're ready to bring your personality, your professionalism, and your passion for people to one of Australia's most dynamic cabin crew teams, this could be the perfect moment to start your journey with Virgin Australia.
