The Role: Ambassadors of Excellence
We consider our Flight Attendants to be ambassadors of the AirX brand. As the first—and sometimes only—point of contact passengers have with us, you'll demonstrate our commitment to excellent service at every stage of the journey.
While safety and passenger comfort are always your top priorities, our recruitment focuses on skills and attributes beyond the basics. We look for Flight Attendants who:
- Greet passengers in their native language
- Prepare a traveller's preferred seat with their usual newspaper, slippers, and favourite drink and snack upon boarding
- Remember personal details—like asking a proud mother how her daughter's exam results went following her flight with us last month
We value perceptiveness and intuitiveness in our crew. We rely on our Flight Attendants to read passengers and interpret behaviour to discern the kind of service to provide, as well as to anticipate their every need. You'll also act as the administrative agent onboard, responsible for stock, inventory, and concierge reporting that keeps every flight running smoothly and guests feeling special and welcome throughout their travels with AirX.
What You'll Be Doing?
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring cleanliness and order of the cabin at all times
- Ensuring required supplies of refreshments, toiletries, and amenities are onboard
- Greeting passengers as they board and welcoming them to their seats
- Assisting passengers while embarking or disembarking and helping with luggage
- Advising passengers of safety matters and demonstrating the use of emergency equipment
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to the highest standards
- Demonstrating knowledge about the Company, flight, aircraft, weather, travel route, refreshments, and arrival times
- Administering first aid to passengers or coordinating first aid efforts if needed
- Following any other instruction given by the flight Commander or their designate
- Completing the Cabin Defects Log to report any malfunctions or unserviceability encountered in the cabin, bringing this to the attention of the Commander
- Completing End of Flight Reports detailing flight outline, passenger details, concierge considerations, passenger preferences, and defects
- Promoting the AirX brand by demonstrating first-class, intuitive service at all times
Who We're Looking For?
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant—preferably in a VIP Business Aviation environment onboard small private jets such as the Legacy 600/650 and Challenger CL604/605 (considered a strong asset)
- A cheerful, upbeat personality—a team player with a well-groomed appearance
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
- Familiarity with long-haul flights (including night operations) and multiple flights per day
- A second language—such as Arabic, Russian, German, French, Italian, or Spanish (highly valued)
