Your Role: Safety, Service, and Brand Ambassadorship
As Cabin Crew with Akasa Air, you'll be the face of our airline—responsible for creating memorable experiences that keep passengers coming back. This role requires dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of your work.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Strictly adhering to and remaining conversant with set standard operating procedures as per Government, DGCA, and Company Manuals
- Maintaining current knowledge of rules, regulations, and procedures for aircraft operations—staying abreast of safety and service circulars, notices, and campaigns
- Presenting a professional image at all times, with strict adherence to company grooming and turn-out standards while on duty and on layovers
- Taking responsibility for the validity of mandatory and regulatory trainings and documents, ensuring their timely issue, renewal, and extension
- Conducting inflight sales and continuously increasing ancillary revenue—promoting the airline as a brand and enhancing the Akasa Air Experience
- Ensuring service delivery is efficiently organized and consistently meets customer expectations, with special attention to passengers requiring assistance (reduced mobility, elderly, unaccompanied minors, mothers with infants/children)
- Showing genuine care for every customer—maintaining enthusiasm and visible passion for customer care
- Taking detailed galley handovers and ensuring sales stock, pre-booked meals, and catering uplifts are accurate
- Building positive public relations in the cabin by engaging positively and proactively with customers—you are our Brand Ambassador
- Ensuring On-Time Performance is consistently maintained
- Maintaining high self-discipline while on duty and strictly adhering to the cabin crew code of conduct
- Taking responsibility for company equipment, unused catering supplies, and the cleanliness and tidiness of the cabin, lavatories, and galleys
- Reporting all issues, discrepancies, non-compliances, and defects to the Inflight Manager
- Making all relevant announcements as defined in the Announcement Book
- Completing all pre-flight and post-flight duties
- Recommending improvements in service delivery, design, and efficiency based on customer and crew feedback
- Practicing effective Crew Resource Management (CRM) to coordinate with cockpit crew and related departments
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: Indian Nationals with a valid Passport, PAN Card, and Aadhar Card
- Age Limit:
- Freshers (no past flying experience): 18 to 28 years
- Experienced crew: Up to 35 years
- Height (minimum):
- Female: 155 cm (weight in proportion)
- Male: 167.5 cm (weight in proportion)
- BMI Range:
- Female: 18 – 23
- Male: 18 – 25
- Education: Minimum 10+2 (Class 12th) with fluency in English and Hindi
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit as per DGCA standards
- Appearance: No visible tattoos or marks
- Work Demands: Willingness to travel, work long hours, and work in shifts
