Cabin Attendant for Private Charter – Join Our San Jose (SJC) Team!

Silver Air is looking for a seasoned, independent Cabin Attendant to join a dedicated Part 135 charter operation based at San Jose International Airport (SJC). This role is designed for a true aviation professional who excels in a dynamic, self-managed environment. You will be the sole ambassador of our service onboard a high-utilization aircraft, ensuring every charter mission reflects Silver Air's commitment to excellence, safety, and discreet luxury.

This position supports a busy schedule of primarily domestic charter flights, with occasional international and overwater trips. The ideal candidate is someone who doesn't just follow a script but anticipates needs, solves problems proactively, and maintains impeccable standards without the day-to-day oversight of a large corporate hangar. You must be based within a commutable distance of SJC to support our flexible, short-notice operation.

Your Mission: Autonomous Excellence in the Cabin!

In this role, you will take full ownership of the cabin experience from start to finish. You are not just serving guests—you are managing the entire cabin ecosystem, often working independently from a third-party FBO or hangar. Your ability to coordinate, communicate, and execute with precision will define the quality of every flight.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities includes:

    • Providing polished, intuitive, and exceptional service to guests on every Part 135 charter flight.
    • Upholding Silver Air's precise service standards consistently, regardless of location or schedule.
    • Conducting thorough pre- and post-flight cabin inspections and ensuring the aircraft is always "mission ready."
    • Independently managing all provisioning—from catering coordination to inventory stocking—often using local vendors and FBO resources.
    • Maintaining flawless cabin cleanliness, organization, and presentation.
    • Serving as the primary point of contact for the flight crew, FBO personnel, and ground service partners.
    • Strictly adhering to all safety protocols, compliance regulations, and procedures outlined in the Silver Air Cabin Attendant Handbook.
    • Confidently supporting international and overwater operations, including all necessary preparation and documentation.

    Who We're Looking For?

We need a professional who brings substantial experience and a self-starter mentality. You thrive on autonomy and understand the unique rhythms and demands of charter aviation.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Cabin Attendant in corporate/Part 91 or 135 aviation; 5+ years is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to operate successfully and independently at remote or non-managed bases.
    • Strong expertise in provisioning, inventory management, and local vendor coordination.
    • Experience with international and overwater operations is a major advantage; you must at minimum be comfortable and prepared to support these missions.
    • Expertise in high-end food and beverage presentation and service.
    • Outstanding communication skills and a professional, guest-focused demeanor.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a disciplined, operational mindset.
    • The ability to maintain peak performance supporting a high-utilization aircraft with a variable schedule.

    Why Choose Silver Air?

At Silver Air, we foster a culture of high performance built on mutual respect, safety, and a shared passion for excellence. We support our team with a comprehensive benefits package designed for your well-being and professional growth.

    • Fully paid medical insurance for you and your family.
    • A 5% company match on 401(k) or Roth IRA contributions.
    • Wellness and mental health program access.
    • Cell phone allowance and travel/pet insurance.
    • Commitment to your professional development.

    Ready to Take Ownership?

If you are a resourceful, experienced Cabin Attendant who prides themselves on operational excellence and seeks a role with real ownership, we encourage you to apply. Candidates who demonstrate strong independent operational experience may be considered at the top of the salary range.
