Your Role: Ensuring Safety and Delivering Hospitality!
As the face of NOVOAIR in the cabin, you will play the most vital dual role: a vigilant safety expert and a gracious host. Your day begins with detailed pre-flight briefings and continues as you warmly welcome passengers onboard. Your primary responsibility is the safety and well-being of everyone on the flight, which involves meticulous checks of all emergency equipment, clear demonstrations of safety procedures, and ensuring the cabin is perfectly secured for departure and arrival. Alongside this critical duty, you will provide attentive in-flight service, assist with documentation, and handle any situation—from serving meals to administering first aid—with calm competence.
What You Will Do?
- Conduct thorough pre-flight safety checks and attend all crew briefings.
- Welcome passengers warmly, assist with seating, and ensure carry-on luggage is stowed safely.
- Demonstrate safety procedures clearly and confidently to passengers prior to takeoff.
- Ensure passenger seatbelts are fastened and galleys are secured at all critical phases of flight.
- Provide attentive food and beverage service and clear trays post-meal.
- Assist passengers with documentation such as landing cards.
- Provide first aid and manage any onboard situations or emergencies with professionalism.
- Uphold the impeccable image and service standards of NOVOAIR at all times.
Are You the Right Fit? Key Requirements
We seek candidates who meet our high standards for safety, service, and presentation. Please review the following prerequisites carefully:
- Age: 18 to 27 years for freshers (as of the application deadline). For experienced cabin crew, the maximum age is 32 years (only prior cabin crew experience is considered).
- Minimum HSC or equivalent, with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC (or equivalent). No third division or equivalent is accepted.
- For Diploma degrees, a minimum CGPA of 2.80 out of 4.00 is required.
- For ‘O’ Level: Maximum 5 subjects with an average grade of ‘D’. For ‘A’ Level: Maximum 2 subjects with an average grade of ‘D’. GED is not accepted.
- Language: Fluent in both Bengali and English (written and spoken). Knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage.
- Attitude: Positive, professional bearing, with outstanding interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for service.
- Height: Minimum 168 cm (5’6”) for males; 161 cm (5’3”) for females. Must have an arm reach of 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
- Weight & BMI: Must be proportionate to height. BMI must be between 18 and 25.
- Eyesight: Must have 6/6 visual acuity without spectacles (correction to 6/6 is acceptable). Colour blindness is a disqualification.
- Swimming: Skills are preferred. Final selected candidates must learn swimming during the initial training period.
- Medical Fitness: Must be in excellent health and medically fit to perform all cabin crew duties.
- Appearance: Upright, strong posture with no visible tattoos or marks on the body. Must possess an appealing and impressive personality.
