Elevate Inflight Excellence: Join Air Horizont as an Inflight Officer in Zaragoza!
Air Horizont is looking for a detail-driven, operationally minded professional to join our team as an Inflight Officer based in Zaragoza. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy coordinating the many moving pieces that make a flight successful, and take pride in delivering seamless onboard experiences, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape our charter operations from behind the scenes.
In this position, you'll be the essential link between catering, cabin crew, ground handling, and operations—ensuring every flight is perfectly prepared, every service meets our high standards, and every passenger enjoys a consistent, memorable journey. Whether you come from aviation, hospitality, or are looking to bring your organizational talents into the industry, we're excited to help you grow.
Your Mission: Consistency, Quality, and Operational Excellence
As our Inflight Officer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that every charter flight takes off with everything it needs—from the right catering and equipment to the proper documentation and service materials. You'll work across departments to anticipate needs, resolve last-minute challenges, and maintain the quality standards that define Air Horizont. Your focus will be on creating a smooth, coordinated operation where nothing is left to chance.
What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day?
Operation & Coordination:
- Coordinating cabin setup for each flight, ensuring all equipment, amenities, and service materials are in place and ready.
- Managing the full catering cycle—from placing orders and overseeing loading to handling last-minute changes due to delays, aircraft swaps, or overnight stays.
- Keeping a close eye on inventory: trolleys, tableware, beverages, and any retail items, ensuring availability and proper control.
- Acting as the central point of contact between Operations, Cabin Crew, and ground handling to resolve incidents quickly and efficiently.
Service Standards & Product Development:
- Maintaining and updating onboard service manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and cabin operations guides.
- Supporting the evolution of our charter product—helping design menus, craft client proposals, and implement service upgrades that reflect tour operator branding and passenger expectations.
- Tracking quality performance through KPIs such as customer satisfaction, catering incidents, and service consistency.
Team & Supplier Support:
- Being a reliable resource for our cabin crew, helping them navigate procedures, operational questions, and quality-related matters.
- Working closely with catering suppliers, cleaning services, and other third parties to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
- Partnering with charter clients and tour operators to bring their product vision to life—whether that's a branded menu, special event accommodations, or specific passenger needs.
What You Bring to the Role?
We're looking for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong organizational instincts, and the ability to stay calm and focused when plans change. While prior aviation experience is not required, your skills in coordination, problem-solving, and communication will be key.
Essential Requirements:
- Advanced English (professional proficiency for emails, calls, and coordination with international partners).
- Strong organizational skills and a natural ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Excellent communication—you know how to align multiple teams toward a common goal.
- An operational mindset: you think on your feet and adapt quickly when schedules shift.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Familiarity with charter or ACMI operations and the fast-moving nature of scheduling changes.
- Experience in aviation catering—ordering, loading, quality control, and supplier coordination.
- A background as Cabin Crew (TCP) or previous experience in inflight supervision or service standards.
Why Join Air Horizont?
This is your chance to step into a dynamic, international charter airline where your work has a direct impact on every passenger's experience. You'll receive dedicated training in inflight procedures and charter products, with a clear professional development plan designed to help you grow within the company.
