TAROM Romanian Air Transport Company (TAROM S.A.) is pleased to announce an internal recruitment process to fill 5 temporary Cabin Crew Member positions on 6-month fixed-term contracts within the Flight Operations Department. Your Responsibilities: Ensuring Excellence at Every Turn
As a Cabin Crew Member, you'll play a vital role in delivering a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every passenger. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all personal documents are valid before each flight—your compliance is essential for smooth operations
- Attending the pre-flight briefing conducted by the Senior Cabin Crew Member—teamwork starts on the ground
- Complying with the procedures outlined in the TAROM Operations Manual, Cabin Crew Manual, and Onboard Service Procedures Manual throughout each flight assignment
- Providing first aid during flights within the limits of your qualifications and in accordance with the Cabin Crew Manual—you'll be prepared for medical emergencies
- Reporting any unusual situations occurring during the flight to the Senior Cabin Crew Member—clear communication is essential
- In emergency situations, acting in accordance with applicable regulations and following the instructions of the Captain and the Senior Cabin Crew Member—safety is always the priority
What We're Looking For?
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Education: High school diploma with a Baccalaureate Diploma
- Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading)
- Certifications:
- Valid EASA Cabin Crew Attestation
- Valid Cabin Crew Medical Report
- Valid aircraft type qualification for an aircraft in the TAROM fleet
- Personal Attributes:
- Pleasant and professional appearance
- Ability to remain calm in emergency and crisis situations
- Strong communication skills, teamwork, positive attitude, discipline, emotional stability, and trustworthiness
- Willingness to work irregular schedules
- Additional Languages: Knowledge of additional international languages is considered an advantage
Selection Process: What to Expect
The selection process consists of three stages, designed to assess your knowledge, skills, and suitability for the role:
- Application Screening – We'll review all applications to ensure candidates meet the minimum requirements.
- Written English Test – This test accounts for 25% of the final score. The minimum passing grade is 7.00.
- Written Technical Knowledge Test – Covering the Cabin Crew Initial Training syllabus, this test accounts for 25% of the final score. The minimum passing grade is 7.00.
- Interview – This accounts for 50% of the final score, allowing us to get to know you and assess your interpersonal skills.
Important: Candidates who fail to achieve the minimum passing grade on either written test will not proceed to the next stage. The minimum overall passing score is 7.5.
