What You'll Do: Creating a Premium Welcome
As a Lounge Host, you are the face of hospitality for our most valued guests. Your role is to ensure every visitor feels genuinely welcomed, well informed, and completely at ease before their flight. You'll move between two key functions, each essential to delivering a seamless experience:
At the Reception Desk
You'll be the first person guests meet. With a warm smile and professional presence, you'll verify lounge eligibility—checking boarding passes, frequent flyer status, and invitations—while keeping the process smooth and welcoming. You'll also share important flight updates and lounge information, helping guests settle in confidently from the moment they arrive.
As Maître de Lounge
Once inside, you become the host who brings the space to life. You'll circulate through the lounge, engaging with guests, offering assistance, and ensuring everything from seating to service meets our high standards. Special attention goes to our most frequent travellers, including HON Circle members, who rely on a personalised, discreet level of care. Whether it's guiding someone through our offerings, answering questions, or simply being a calm and friendly presence, you'll help make every stay feel effortless.
What You Bring to the Team?
At Brussels Airlines, we value character as much as experience. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for hospitality and our commitment to genuine, people-first service.
You'll be a great fit if you have:
- A secondary school diploma and solid experience in a customer-facing service environment—hospitality experience is a strong foundation.
- A natural talent for premium service, with a genuine desire to make guests feel valued and cared for.
- Full professional fluency in English, French, and Dutch, allowing you to connect comfortably with international travellers.
- Warm, confident communication skills, and the ability to stay calm and polite even during busy moments.
- Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills, with the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic airport setting.
- A team-focused mindset—you enjoy collaborating with colleagues and contributing to a positive, high-performing environment.
- Availability to work early shifts, late shifts, and weekends (operating hours between 04:30 and 21:00).
- The right to live and work in Belgium.
- Experience in aviation or an airport environment is a definite advantage, but not a requirement—we're looking for the right attitude above all.
