    White Desert is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an experienced, polished, and adventurous Cabin Crew Member to join our VVIP operations for the 2026–2027 Antarctic season. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, you'll support our Cabin Service Department from 01 September 2026 through 28 February 2027—a season that will take you to one of the most extraordinary places on Earth.

    What You'll Be Doing?

    As a seasonal Cabin Crew Member with White Desert, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every guest experiences the highest standards of safety, comfort, and luxury. Your days will include performing thorough safety checks, attending pre-flight briefings, demonstrating safety routines, and ensuring the overall well-being of our guests from cabin preparation to final landing.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Performing all operational safety, security, and health responsibilities to the highest standards, in full compliance with relevant regulations
    • Reporting any safety-related issues through the correct channels to maintain strict safety compliance
    • Delivering genuinely world-class service excellence, always aligned with our service standards
    • Ensuring full compliance with all corporate policies and applicable legislation
    • Making sure every guest experiences a clean, safe, and impeccably professional cabin environment

    What You Bring to the Role?

    This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for experienced professionals who understand what VVIP service truly means.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • At least 21 years of age
    • Ability to undergo a criminal check covering the previous five years and provide satisfactory references for the same period
    • Professional grooming and appearance at all times
    • A strong sense of responsibility and genuine safety awareness
    • Flexibility to work variable schedules, long-haul flights, and global rotations
    • Physical capability to perform all safety-related duties
    • Willingness to work shifts covering 24 hours a day while in season
    • A commitment to being based in Cape Town for the contract duration, and readiness to conduct standby duties near the airport base and/or in Antarctica
    • Access to a smartphone for work-related operational communication
    • Ability to wear the White Desert uniform to the required standard, with no visible tattoos or body piercings

    Languages:

    • Fluent English is mandatory
    • Additional languages are highly desirable and will make you stand out

    Certifications (Desirable but Not Mandatory):

    • Valid Cabin Crew Attestation
    • Valid Cabin Crew Medical Certificate, or the ability to become medically fit and obtain all required permits and accreditations
    • A valid passport with global travel eligibility, at least 12 months remaining before expiry, and unrestricted rights to work and travel globally

    Experience We're Looking For:

    • A minimum of 3 years of cabin crew experience (essential)
    • Previous VVIP customer service or first-class service experience (highly desirable)
    • Experience in long-haul, charter, or premium cabin service (advantageous)
    • Previous hospitality or luxury service experience (a strong asset)
