Join the Team Behind the Magic of Neos Flights!
Have you ever wondered who ensures the meal you enjoy at 35,000 feet is fresh, who selects the movies playing on your seatback screen, and who coordinates with dozens of suppliers to make every flight feel seamless? That's the Inflight Service Department at Neos, and we are looking for a new colleague to join our dedicated team.
If you love data, enjoy making systems run smoothly, and want to work in the fast-paced world of aviation—without being on a plane every day—this role as an Inflight Service Specialist could be your perfect takeoff point.
What You'll Be Doing Behind the Scenes
Think of this role as the operational backbone of our onboard experience. You won't be serving coffee at 30,000 feet, but you will be the reason the coffee gets onboard in the first place. Your days will be varied, hands-on, and deeply connected to every flight we operate.
Here's a glimpse into your future responsibilities:
- Keeping our operational systems accurate and up to date, carefully entering and managing catering orders for every single departure.
- Acting as the key point of contact between Neos and our catering and service providers, making sure everyone is aligned and nothing is left to chance.
- Performing final operational checks in the 24 to 48 hours before each flight—catching issues before they ever become a problem for our crew or passengers.
- Creating and maintaining performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards that help us track costs, monitor quality, and continuously improve our service.
- Jumping in to coordinate catering logistics for special Ad Hoc flights, where every detail matters.
- Helping manage our onboard entertainment (IFE) systems, from scheduling content to verifying everything works as intended before passengers board.
- Supporting the "Buy on Board" service, ensuring products are available and processes run smoothly.
- Using data analysis to help the team make smarter decisions about costs and operational efficiency.
What You Bring to the Table?
We're looking for someone who combines analytical thinking with real-world problem-solving. You don't need to come from aviation, but you do need to be motivated, precise, and ready to grow.
Required qualifications:
- A degree, preferably in Economics, Management, Statistics, or a related field.
- English at a minimum B1 level (you'll be communicating with international suppliers and teams).
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel—you should feel comfortable working with spreadsheets and data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; you know how to get the right information to the right people.
- A naturally analytical mindset and genuine enjoyment of problem-solving.
- The ability to stay accurate and organized even when the workload gets heavy.
- A collaborative, proactive approach to teamwork.
- Motivation to learn, improve, and build a career.
It would also help if you have:
- A strong data-driven approach and the ability to interpret complex information.
- A genuine interest in optimizing operational processes and making things run better.
Why You'll Love Working With Us?
At Neos, we believe that behind every great flight is a great team. Here's what we offer to support yours:
- The chance to work in a dynamic, constantly evolving industry with exciting technological challenges.
- Continuous training and real opportunities for professional growth in a supportive, engaging environment.
- Daily meal vouchers and a comprehensive welfare package.
- A competitive salary range of €26,000 – €32,000 per year. The exact contract type and compensation will be discussed during your interview, based on your skills and experience.
