The Role: Cabin Crew Member
As a Cabin Crew Member at Avianca, you'll be at the heart of our operation. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our passengers, while complying with all safety procedures, aviation regulations, onboard service standards, and company policies.
Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
- Carrying out all procedures established in the Cabin Crew Manual, including pre-flight briefings, reviewing the latest circulars and bulletins, keeping your documentation current, complying with safety regulations, and maintaining a polished, professional appearance
- Executing operational and onboard service procedures as defined in our manuals, making sound decisions under normal, contingency, and emergency conditions to guarantee safety and deliver excellent onboard service
- Creating memorable travel experiences for passengers—ones that build loyalty through safe, empathetic, and solution-oriented service
- Identifying findings, non-conformities, and improvement opportunities in operational, safety, and service processes, and reporting them through the company's designated channels
- Reporting any incidents to the Cabin Chief for proper documentation, including anomalies, inconsistencies, and any updates that must be recorded in the flight report to ensure smooth operations
- Carrying out onboard sales as defined by the company, following established procedures with professionalism
Requirements to Apply
To be considered for this Talent Pool, you'll need to meet the following criteria:
- Education: Professional degree or currently enrolled in a technical or university program
- Work Experience: 6 months in customer service (preferred)
- Language: English at B2 level
- Swimming Ability: Must be able to swim and float
- Passport: Valid passport required
- U.S. Tourist Visa: Preferred but not mandatory
