We are looking for dedicated, detail-focused Cabin Groomers to join our team at Entebbe International Airport. In this role, you'll be essential to every aircraft turnaround—ensuring our cabins are cleaned, sanitized, and beautifully presented for each departure. What You'll Be Doing?
Reporting to the Cabin Grooming Supervisor, you'll take ownership of the cabin's cleanliness and readiness. Your work will directly support on-time departures and passenger satisfaction.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining aircraft interiors to Uganda Airlines' high standards
- Wiping down all passenger touch points—seats, tray tables, armrests, overhead bins, and more
- Clearing seat pockets of litter, debris, and any left-behind items
- Vacuuming cabin floors, aisles, and seating areas thoroughly
- Collecting and disposing of waste from the cabin
- Emptying and cleaning waste receptacles
- Deep cleaning and sanitizing aircraft lavatories, then applying approved air fresheners
- Restocking seat pockets with inflight magazines, safety cards, and promotional materials
- Ensuring aisles and passenger areas are completely clear and ready for boarding
- Doing a final check of cabin cleanliness and presentation before the aircraft departs
- Supporting efficient aircraft turnarounds in line with operational schedules
Safety and Professionalism Matter
Working airside and inside aircraft comes with serious responsibility. We'll expect you to:
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Follow all airside safety procedures and company policies
- Safeguard and properly report any valuable items or personal belongings left behind by passengers
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely, following all established procedures
- Observe and comply with Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) awareness requirements
Customer Service Through Cleanliness:
Even though you're not a flight attendant, you're still part of the passenger experience. You may interact with travelers during transit operations, so we're looking for someone who is courteous, professional, and represents Uganda Airlines positively through both conduct and appearance.
Personal Conduct and Hygiene:
- Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming
- Wear the prescribed uniform and required personal protective equipment
- Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and professionalism in every shift
What You Need to Qualify?
We're looking for candidates who bring both experience and the right attitude.
Education and Experience:
- Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent
- A minimum of two years' experience in cleaning services, housekeeping, hospitality, aviation support services, or a related field
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proper use and handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Basic knowledge of airside safety procedures
- General awareness of Airside Driving requirements and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) will be an added advantage
- Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Additional Duties
You may also be asked to perform other tasks as assigned by the Cabin Grooming Supervisor from time to time—flexibility is part of the job.
