    Helvetic Airways, one of Switzerland's premier regional airlines, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Head of Cabin Crew to join our Operations Management team in Zurich. This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned aviation professional who combines operational expertise with strong people management skills.

    As Deputy Head of Cabin Crew, you will be appointed by the Accountable Manager and serve as a key member of our Operations Management structure. You will hold supervisory authority over all cabin crew members across all operational aspects defined in our Operations Manuals, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, service, and compliance.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    In this leadership capacity, you will be responsible for:

    • Supervising all cabin procedures to ensure maximum safety, proficiency, and high-profile passenger service
    • Overseeing other operationally relevant external entities to maintain seamless coordination
    • Supervising the duties and responsibilities of all cabin crew members
    • Implementing measures for risk mitigation where necessary
    • Implementing remedial actions (corrective and preventive) as required
    • Promoting compliance monitoring consciousness throughout the cabin crew organisation
    • Exercising authority for operational, compliance, and personnel-related decisions within the Cabin Crew organisation

    What We're Looking For?

    This role demands a professional with a strong aviation background and proven leadership capabilities.

    Training and Experience:

    • Active or previously qualified Senior Cabin Attendant – this is essential
    • Intellectual potential corresponding to higher grades of elementary/advanced school (Matur or Berufsmittelschule) or equivalent professional education (Berufslehre mit höherer Weiterbildung)
    • Basic course in leadership – completed
    • Basic course in teaching and learning – completed

    Skills and Knowledge:

    • English: At least ICAO Language Proficiency Level 4
    • German: Able to write documents with minor and rare mistakes only
    • Structured thinking and acting irrespective of emotional constraints
    • Leadership potential at an above-average level
    • Ability to select and lead cabin crew members in full compliance with corporate commitment and management philosophy
    • Ability to gather, study, and understand regulatory text in the area of cabin crew, verify its impact on Helvetic's Operations Manuals, and create revised or new text when needed
    • Familiarity with the regulatory framework in cabin crew regulations (including the structure and meaning of EASA documents and EASA Air Operations)
