What You'll Be Doing Every Day?
At Akasa Air, we believe that flying should be a warm, seamless experience. As cabin crew, you're at the heart of making that happen. Your days will be a thoughtful balance of safety procedures, genuine hospitality, and brand ambassadorship.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Keeping safety first at all times. You'll follow all DGCA and company procedures meticulously, stay current on regulations, and ensure your training and documents are always valid and up to date.
- Making every customer feel seen and cared for. From assisting passengers with reduced mobility, elderly travelers, or unaccompanied minors to helping mothers with infants, your attention and warmth make all the difference.
- Owning the onboard experience. You'll manage galley handovers, check catering and pre-booked meal uplifts, and ensure the cabin, lavatories, and galleys remain spotless throughout the flight.
- Driving ancillary revenue through genuine engagement. As a natural salesperson, you'll promote onboard products and services in a way that feels helpful, not pushy—always enhancing the customer's journey while supporting the airline.
- Being a true brand ambassador. You'll make announcements, maintain a polished and professional appearance, and engage positively with customers to build strong public relations in the cabin.
- Coordinating like a pro. You'll practice effective Crew Resource Management, working seamlessly with the cockpit crew, airport services, catering, and security teams.
- Taking pride in continuous improvement. You'll share feedback from customers and fellow crew members to help us refine service delivery, reduce waste, and become more efficient.
What We're Looking For?
We're seeking individuals who are self-disciplined, enthusiastic, and genuinely passionate about customer care. To be considered, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Be an Indian national with a valid Passport, PAN Card, and Aadhar Card.
- Age limit: 18 to 28 years for freshers (no prior flying experience); up to 35 years for experienced crew.
- Minimum height: 155 cm for female candidates, 167.5 cm for male candidates (with proportionate weight).
- Minimum education: Class 12 (10+2) completed.
- Fluency in both English and Hindi (spoken and written).
- Medically fit as per DGCA standards.
- BMI within the range of 18–23 for females and 18–25 for males.
- No visible tattoos or marks.
- Willingness to travel, work long hours, and handle shift-based schedules.
