SKY express, one of Greece's fastest-growing airlines, is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Catering & Inflight Services Associate to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will ensure that every catering product, inflight service item, and onboard offering meets the highest standards of quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
You'll play a vital part in safeguarding the passenger experience, maintaining supplier compliance, and driving operational excellence across our expanding network. What You'll Be Doing?
Your responsibilities will be varied, challenging, and deeply rewarding. You'll be expected to:
- Ensure compliance of catering products and inflight service items with approved quality, food safety, and regulatory standards
- Conduct audits and inspections across suppliers, warehouses, handling agents, outstations, and aircraft—ensuring consistency and excellence at every touchpoint
- Evaluate new products and processes for onboard suitability and supplier compliance—you'll help shape the inflight experience
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and monitor corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Track product traceability and analyse quality performance data to drive continuous improvement across our operations
- Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures, audit protocols, and inspection tools that uphold our high standards
What You'll Bring to the Role?
To succeed in this position, you'll need a combination of education, experience, and personal qualities that align with our commitment to excellence:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Quality Management, or a related field
- Experience in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, Quality Control, Catering, Hospitality, or Food Production
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety management systems (ISO 22000, ISO 9001, BRC, IFS, or equivalent)
- Auditor certification, aviation/inflight catering experience, and supplier audit experience will be considered significant assets
- Proficient in IT (MS Office suite)—you're comfortable working with data and reporting tools
- Fluency in Greek and English (both verbal and written)—effective communication is essential
- Flexibility to work in rotation shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Flexibility to travel and support audit activities when required
