Description
Rex is seeking dedicated full-time flight attendants based in Wagga Wagga. It includes working on weekends, public holidays, and shift work, which involves early starts, late finishes, and occasional nights spent away from home.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for managing the entire cabin independently, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the flight. You will manage your own cabin and have the opportunity to provide a caring and personalized service while traveling to some of Australia’s most unique destinations. You will need to manage in-flight services while maintaining a high standard of safety and compliance with aviation regulations. Some of the duties you will perform include equipment and security checks, in-flight announcements, in-flight food and beverage service, cleaning duties, as well as handling various situations that may occur in the cabin on your own.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be 18 years of age or over and be able to demonstrate that they have either completed a minimum of 3 years of secondary education in Australia or New Zealand, worked in Australia or New Zealand for at least 3 of the last 5 years, worked in the UK, Ireland, or USA for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or completed the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall grade of 5.5. Candidates must be passionate about their role with a commitment to delivering exceptional and consistent customer service, be flexible and adaptable as working hours will vary and include holiday times and peak periods, and have a high level of personal presentation along with a natural willingness to please and care for people. The candidate must be no taller than 173 cm, be able to swim fully clothed without aid or a floating device (a swim assessment is required), hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), be able to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) which involves a police security check, and hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
