Description
As an Air Canada Express and Jazz Flight Attendant, you will ensure the safe and efficient movement of Air Canada and Jazz passengers while providing customer service excellence and creating a welcoming and comfortable environment onboard. You will always project a warm, caring, and empathetic professional image. The role requires prioritizing safety while providing leadership, direction, and assistance to passengers and colleagues. You will execute all pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight duties in compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations, IOSA Standards, and Company Standard Operating Procedures and Policies. Critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential, especially in emergency situations.

Requirements
The successful candidate must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent. They must be able to communicate effectively in English, with French preferred, and hold Canadian citizenship or Permanent Resident status with the ability to travel outside Canada without restrictions. A minimum of one to two years of customer service or public-facing work experience, such as teaching, nursing, or administration, is required. Jazz Flight Attendants must be 6’1” (185 cm) or shorter and hold a valid passport with at least six months of validity at the time of hire. Permanent Residents must obtain and maintain crew visa documentation required for travel to the United States. Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card upon employment. Once hired, they must successfully complete Jazz's Initial Flight Attendant Training Program, which lasts approximately six weeks. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential, along with a positive attitude and the ability to work unsupervised. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate a high sense of ethics and respect for diversity.
Benefits and Perks
Jazz offers a salary of $34.80 per flight hour along with travel privileges on the Air Canada network for you and your family. The benefits package includes a comprehensive health plan covering medical, dental, and life insurance. Crew members receive a daily expense allowance averaging $800–$1000 tax-free per month, as well as uniform, cleaning, and shoe allowances totaling approximately $1000 per year. The position guarantees a minimum of 10 days off per month, compared to the average of 8, and includes at least 2 weeks of vacation plus accumulated statutory holidays. The flexible schedule is based on a bidding system, allowing options for part-time work, shift trading, and overtime. A pension plan is also provided.
