You'll be the person they look to for guidance, reassurance, and inspiration—creating an environment where both guests and crew feel valued, supported, and cared for.

This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to shape experiences, build a team culture, and grow with a dynamic airline within the Lufthansa Group.

Your Responsibilities as a Responsible Cabin Manager at Discover Airlines:

    • Promote an open communication culture—remain calm and clear under pressure, and reinforce teamwork through defined roles and mutual support
    • Lead by example—foster a culture of open and constructive feedback, creating the foundation for strong collaboration within your crew
    • Work closely with the flight deck and other operational teams (such as ground staff, catering, and maintenance) to ensure smooth and safe operations
    • Handle challenging situations confidently with a solution-oriented mindset, empathy, and a high level of commitment
    • Continuously invest in your personal and professional development—we support your growth every step of the way

    What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need to bring a combination of experience, skills, and personal qualities that align with our commitment to excellence:

    • Valid Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA) in accordance with EASA Part CC regulations
    • At least three years of flight experience as a (Senior) Cabin Crew Member within the last five years
    • Completed secondary school education (intermediate school certificate or equivalent/higher qualification)
    • Previous experience in the hospitality, hotel, or healthcare sector is an advantage—we value diverse backgrounds
    • Fluent German and English (spoken and written)—you'll be communicating with guests and crew in both languages; additional language skills are a plus
    • Ability to swim confidently—safety is paramount
    • Valid unrestricted passport—you'll be traveling the world
    • Ability to reach the assigned base within 90 minutes while on standby—reliability is essential
    • Strong customer service orientation—you genuinely enjoy making people feel welcome
    • Confident and well-groomed appearance—you represent our brand
    • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills—you build bridges, not walls
    • Internet access—for training and communication purposes
    • Willingness to receive a Yellow Fever vaccination—required for certain destinations
