    Description

    As an Envoy Air Flight Attendant, you will be responsible for greeting, directing, and assisting passengers, as well as providing public announcements. You will ensure passenger compliance with all safety requirements and federal regulations, prioritizing their safety and comfort. Your role involves demonstrating leadership, confidence, and professionalism while managing passenger inquiries, operational changes, and emergencies. You will provide clear and calm instructions during emergencies and be prepared to evacuate passengers rapidly if needed. Assisting passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, and effectively diffusing challenging situations involving disorderly or irate passengers will be part of your responsibilities. You will also care for ill, injured, or incapacitated passengers and may administer first aid in compliance with regulations. The role requires performing duties in confined aircraft spaces, adapting to frequent changes in flight schedules and conditions, and ensuring timely completion of responsibilities to contribute to on-time departures and arrivals.

    Requirements

    You are a good fit for the role if you are at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. You must be fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language, with strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and crew. A valid passport with the legal right to travel unrestricted to and from all countries served by Envoy is required, along with no criminal history within the last five years to comply with Canada’s entry and exit requirements. You should maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance and adhere to uniform standards. Your height should be between 5'0" and 6'0" without shoes to meet safety standards for the jump seat harness and seat belt. Flexibility is essential, as the role involves working various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and trips lasting up to four consecutive overnights. Physical fitness is necessary to handle tasks such as pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, and lifting equipment, carts, and doors of various weights. Additionally, you must have access to reliable high-speed internet and a device capable of downloading Microsoft Office Suite, as well as possess the legal right to work in the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Priority will be given to candidates with at least one year of hospitality experience in the hotel, restaurant, or retail industries, previous work experience in roles involving face-to-face public contact, and those who hold a college degree.
