Your Role: The Architect of a Flawless Journey
In this role, you are the central figure of the cabin experience, entrusted with ensuring every flight is safe, seamless, and surpasses expectations. You will work closely under the direction of the pilot-in-command to manage all cabin operations, from pre-flight preparation to post-flight documentation. Your ability to anticipate needs, respond with grace under pressure, and deliver impeccable service is paramount.
A Day in Your Professional Life Will Include:
- Executing all duties as directed by the pilot-in-command with precision and professionalism.
- Leading with confidence in emergency situations, providing clear direction to passengers and administering basic first aid, CPR, or AED assistance if required.
- Conducting thorough pre-flight safety and cabin checks, ensuring all equipment and supplies meet strict operational standards.
- Delivering comprehensive passenger safety briefings that exceed FAA regulations.
- Providing exceptional, personalized in-flight service, catering to the nuanced needs of corporate travelers.
- Maintaining the aircraft cabin, galley, and storage areas in impeccable condition.
- Managing inventory, submitting required paperwork, and handling corporate purchases with absolute accuracy.
- Adhering meticulously to all company policies, including those in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
The Qualifications You Bring
We are looking for a candidate who combines formal training with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
- A high school diploma and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant (within a corporate flight department or with a premium airline service).
- Formal training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or an equivalent provider is strongly preferred. Candidates without recent training must be willing to complete an initial course prior to assignment.
- The physical ability to lift and move up to 62 pounds for duties such as handling baggage and operating emergency equipment.
- A valid U.S. driver's license and a passport free of restrictions for worldwide travel.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, with the stamina to stand for extended periods.
- A high attention to detail and technical aptitude to operate sophisticated cabin systems.
- Food handling/culinary training and current in-flight medical training (CPR/AED) are significant advantages.
- Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated by the start date, barring approved exemptions.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays, and live within a commutable distance of the Flight Operations facility in Sterling, Virginia.
