Description
Jet Linx is seeking a qualified Air Host/Hostess based in Omaha, NE. The Air Host/Hostess is responsible for providing all cabin service duties to meet the needs of passengers and crew, excluding safety-sensitive functions.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Air Host(ess), you will be responsible for providing passenger service as requested, directed, or needed, including ordering, preparing, and serving all food and refreshments. You will assist qualified crewmembers in the stowage of passenger baggage, boarding, and seating of passengers. Additionally, you will support the flight crew as directed and occupy the cockpit jump seat or a passenger seat for takeoff and landing, as briefed by the PIC. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a minimum two-year college degree (desired) and at least two years of previous customer service experience. Fluency in multiple languages is preferred. Candidates must have completed Hazardous Material training and TSA 12-5 Security Program, along with Asset Training (12 months) for each aircraft, covering cabin systems operation, emergency equipment usage, and aircraft surface contamination recognition. CPR, First Aid, and AED certification are required. The role demands professionalism in all situations, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Candidates must remain calm in emergencies, work well independently and as part of a team, and adapt to frequent changes in procedures, schedules, and directions. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality are essential.
Physical Requirements:
Candidate must meet the following physical requirements: occasional lifting of weights up to 30-40 pounds, the ability to function in changing environmental conditions, and the capability to perform physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to complete daily work functions.
