Private Aviation Hospitality Role – Air Host(ess) with Jet Linx in Omaha!
Jet Linx is looking for a polished, service-driven Air Host or Hostess to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This is a unique role for someone who genuinely enjoys creating a warm, effortless travel experience for private aviation passengers—without the safety-sensitive responsibilities of a traditional flight attendant. If you take pride in anticipating needs, presenting beautiful service, and working alongside a professional flight crew, this could be your perfect fit.
What You'll Be Doing?
Think of yourself as the onboard hospitality expert. You won't be responsible for safety-sensitive tasks—instead, you'll focus entirely on making every flight feel seamless and welcoming for passengers and crew alike.
Your day-to-day will include things like:
- Planning, preparing, and serving thoughtfully arranged meals and refreshments exactly as passengers prefer.
- Helping passengers settle in comfortably, including assisting with luggage stowage under the guidance of qualified crew members.
- Welcoming guests aboard and making sure they're comfortably seated before departure.
- Supporting the flight crew whenever they need an extra hand—always working as a trusted part of the team.
- Following the Pilot in Command's briefing, you'll occupy the cockpit jump seat or a passenger seat during takeoff and landing.
- Jumping in on other tasks as needed; no two flights are exactly the same, and flexibility is key.
What We're Looking For?
This role is ideal for someone who stays calm under pressure, enjoys variety, and knows how to read a room. You should be equally comfortable working independently or collaborating closely with others.
Here's what you'll need to bring:
- A natural ability to stay professional and poised with all kinds of personalities and in all kinds of situations.
- Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
- Strong communication skills—both spoken and written—so you can connect easily with passengers and crew.
- A cool head during emergencies and the ability to think clearly when things get fast-paced.
- Sharp attention to detail and solid organizational habits.
- A deep respect for confidentiality; you'll be trusted with sensitive information.
- Comfort with frequent changes in procedures, directions, and schedules.
- A willingness to work flexible, non-standard hours—private aviation doesn't run 9-to-5.
Your Background
We're looking for candidates who have:
- At least two years of previous customer service experience (hospitality, private service, or aviation-related roles are a strong plus).
- A two-year college degree or higher—preferred but not absolutely required.
- Completed Hazardous Material training and the TSA 12-5 Security Program.
- Completed Asset Training (within the last 12 months) for each aircraft you'll support, covering cabin systems, emergency equipment locations and use, and recognizing/reporting surface contamination.
- Bonus points if you speak multiple languages fluently.
Physical Realities of the Role
This job does involve some physical activity. You should be comfortable with:
- Occasionally lifting up to 30–40 pounds.
- Working in changing environmental conditions (temperature shifts, altitude, etc.).
- Standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing throughout your workday as you move around the cabin.
Why Join Jet Linx in Omaha?
You'll be part of a respected private aviation company known for its professionalism and client-first approach. Based in Omaha, you'll work alongside experienced crew members who value teamwork and high standards. If you're someone who finds satisfaction in making every detail just right—and every passenger feel genuinely cared for—we'd love to hear from you.
